"Hello?" 

The other side picked up. Yoohyeon was startled of the slightly deep but soft female voice she heard but she spoke after a few seconds of trance.

"Hey? Is this H-Handong?"

"Yes, who's callin- wait Yoohyeon is this you? You're alive???" - Handong said with pure happiness in her voice.

"Y-Yeah I'm alive. I know this is really sudden but.. I uh.. have a question."

Yoohyeon was feeling scared for some reason. Was it the voice of the lady that made her feel flustered or the fact that this could be one of her exes or enemies she's talking to without actually knowing?

"Of course, feel free to ask anything- but before anything, is Dams doing okay?"

"Oh, Yubin? Yeah, she's.. fine?" 

Yoohyeon was confused. "Dams?". Why was she using a nickname to address her sister? Has something happened between those two when she was in a coma? So many questions.. with someone to actually answer them this time.

"I'm glad! Now feel free to ask me anyt-" "What is our relationship? How did we meet and who exactly are you?" - Yoohyeon didnt even wait for Handong to finish. It took the lady by surprise for sure.

"Oh right! You had memory loss, didn't you? *sigh* This'll take a while, are you ready to listen?"

"I always am." - exclaimed Yooh. Handong giggled and started explaining.

30 minutes later

"And that's... all I guess?" - Handong said in a soft tone, expecting an answer from her caller after this long explanation.

Yoohyeon was speechless. Handong was Yoohyeon's savior. After Yoohyeon crashed into a tree, Handong passed by with her group of friends and saw the explosion that occured. She didn't even hesitate a second and ran to save Yoohyeon from the crash scene and immediately called paramedics. Her friends didn't even bulge a finger but instead left her all alone with an unconscious woman who was about to die.

If it wasn't for Handong, Yoohyeon would've been dead. But what about Dami? Why was she involved in this you may think? Apparently, Dami and Handong were in a two year relationship. Whenever Dami visited Yoohyeon, she would always see Handong outside the hospital. Maybe the girl didn't have any courage to enter since they were practically strangers but Dami really liked that about her - how caring she was.

Their relationship began evolving soon after the incident and continued growing stronger but unfortunately good things always come to an end. They loved eachother but ended things off but the reason for their breakup was actually quite tragic to say the least... Handong.. cheated..?

More accurately - she got drugged by a group of boys and made out with them. Yikes...  She loved Yubin to the point she would leave her current life for a new one just so she can be with her but Dami caught her making out with them... Handong tried to explain but Yubin was too hurt by her actions. She immediately broke up with her and promised herself to never date again.

Dami didn't contact Handong even though she still loved her for sure. Yoohyeon wished to help them but right now she was wondering if Handong knew something about the girl in the picture so the two decided to meet up in a cafe nearby the next day.

The next morning

Yoohyeon told her two roommates that she'd go out for a bit so they drove her to the meeting spot and went to work. Yoohyeon used to have a job as a designer as well but now she didn't have any plans to go back.

The two girls finally met and Handong felt happy seeing the girl she saved feeling happy, well, and alive. They hugged and immediately clicked since the two had really similar interests. Handong worked as a pet store owner in an animal adoption centre and apparently Yoohyeon adopted her puppy from there.

The two ordered their drinks and Yoohyeon thought it was a good time to show the only picture of the mystery woman she had to her. Handong was thinking really hard but it did remind her of someone she has encountered before.

"I think I've seen her before. Unfortunately, I don't know her name but she visited you just once when you just got in a coma." - Handong said while holding the picture. It wasn't a very helpful clue but just the smallest thing could be enough for Yoohyeon right now.

"But I think I saw her talk to Dami that same day so I'm sure you two were close. Maybe try to ask Dami once again?" - Handong advised her but Yoohyeon seemed sceptical.

"I tried a few times but to no avail. She told me to try to remember her myself and if I don't remember it's for the better... What could that even mean?" - Yoohyeon scratched her neck and took a sip of her latte that just arrived. Handong then clapped her hands and that startled the girl in front of her. She took out her phone and showed a picture she had saved in it. It was the house that was shown in that one picture that Gahyeon gave her. How does she have this picture? Maybe Gahyeon got the gift from her?

"I think Dami talked about wanting to move in here because you used to live there with someone but not anymore. And I'm sure that woman is that person you used to live with. Could she be someone you used to go to school with or even date?

"Date?"

Yoohyeon wondered to herself but she should've known that lady if she did. But then a strong headache hit her. She held her head and closed her eyes to try to focus on calming herself down and stopping the pain. Handong was really worried but Yooh assured her it's fine. Why such a strong headache all of a sudden?

Yoohyeon wanted her to say more information about the secret girl but that was all she could remember. Handong requested that she should send Yoohyeon off to her apartment but the latter felt like walking back alone. The two ended their last conversation on a good note and decided to not tell anyone about their meeting unless they get asked about it. The two hugged one last time and went their own ways.

20 minutes later

Yoohyeon was walking back home a bit slower than usual. She wandered off a bit but reached a small convenience store to buy some water. Everyone stared at her but she didn't know why. Beautiful people always get stared down after all. She left the store and then went downtown to look at some clothes on display. She didn't plan on buying anything but the love she had for clothes was out of this world.

A shop window had a vintage dress on display that caught her eye. It looked really gorgeous and a bit different from her usual tastes. She caught herself taking a picture of it and smiling at it. She loved it for some reason.

"Are you interested in buying it?" - A woman from the store asked after bowing. Yoohyeon shook her head and said she's just looking. The kind lady then excused herself and left her alone.

Yoohyeon was then yet again left by herself to look at the clothing. No other dress has caught her attention as much as this one and that for sure surprised her. She crossed her arms and shrugged her shoulders before leaving.

"That dress really reminded me of Minji.."

"Wait, who's Minji?"
