Kill Her?

Wendy's POV

W...Was that really Lucy-san just now? Fear spread through my body and sent a chill down my spine

I decided to follow Lucy when she left... So while everyone was recovering from shock, I quickly slipped out the door and found Lucy a few feet away having a conversation with 'Zeref'

I slowly walked to them, gathering all my confidence... I stopped a feet away
"Lucy-san?" I sqeaked softly, calling their attention...

"Wendy? What are you doing here?" She asked softly, making me feel a little safer

I gathered all my courage and ran to Lucy and hugged her. "I missed you,Lucy-san!" Tears streamed down my face as she hugged me back

"Shh... Its okay Wendy.." She cooed

"Im sorry! I wasn't there when you left! I found out only 3 days after, that you were gone..."

"Its not your fault, Wendy... Its okay... I forgive you..." She tightened her hug and It felt warm... Like a Mother's

I snuggled closer because i knew... This may be the last time I can hug her... I don't want to let go yet...

We stayed like that for a few moments until she finally pulled away from the hug

"Im sorry Wendy... I have to go.." She smiled sadly and started to wslk away from me... And Zeref followed her, Giving me a soft gentle smile befor he left

From then I knew... Lucy was just hurt... She needed time... She was afraid...

Lucy's POV

Wendy.... She will always be my friend... Forever and always...

"That girl... She's kind..." Zeref said snapping me out of my thoughts

"Yes... Wendy... She was the only one who gave me care in the guild, ever since Cheryll came..."

"Mhm... You care about her dont you?" Zeref smiled softly

"Yes... I want her to be protected..."

"On it." He snapped his fingers

"She has protection against magic that harms her... Anyone that attack's her will get the attack deflected back at them"

I smiled "Good..."

She's safe... At least i could return the favor, Wendy...

Wendy's POV

I went in the guild and saw that they were having a 'meeting'

"We have to kill her!" Natsu seemed pissed off as he said those words

"She has Zeref's magic... Its unsafe... What's more, she knows Fairy Glitter!" Master said frustratedly

"Natsu... You can trick her... She loves you... Tell her you're sorry and when she let's her guard down... You kill her..." Cheryll suggested

What? Kill Lucy-san? Oh no! I have to warn her! I have to stop them...

Everyone seemed to agree to Cheryll's plan
"Im sorry it cant be helped... She's been with Zeref... Who knows what she's capable of..." I could see through Cheryll's frown... It was a smirk.... She's planning something bad....

"You cant kill Lucy-san!" I screamed

They all looked shocked

"We just have to ask for forgiveness! I know that Lucy-san is just hurt! And deep inside her she doesn't want to hurt anyone"

"Then what the hell did she do to Natsu!?" Cheryll yelled with rage

"And how much pain did Natsu-san cause her?! Natsu-san just had physical pain... Lucy-san was hurt mentally! You all ignored her and treated her like trash! That's what caused her to become like this! Its all your fault!" I couldn't contain my anger anymore, i feel like bursting...

They were all silent for a moment

"What about what she did to Cheryll?" Natsu shattered the silence

"Do you really think Lucy-san would do such a thing? We've known her for so long... Yet we dont even know what she wouldnt do?" I was already crying and Carla came to my side and patted my back with her paw

Everyone reflected.... Would she really do such a thing?

"Why're you so against killing her? She's gone rogue!" Cheryll finally said

"Well, Why do you want to kill her so much?" I glared at her

She was speechless for a moment

"Ugh" She launched an unexpected water attack at me

I closed my eyes waiting for the impact but felt none... I opened my eyes and saw her spell dissolve right before me

This... My protection... Is it Lucy-san's magic?

"Wh-What?! That's Lucy's magic! Wendy has been possesed by darkness!" Cheryll exclaimed

"No, Its still me..." I took a step back seeing their nasty glares

"What have you done with Wendy?" Natsu asked angrily

"B-But, I'm Me! Please believe me,Natsu-san!"

"Roar of the fire Dragon!"

Aahh Oh no....

"Roar of the Sky Dragon!"

Our attacks collided and eventually dissolved in the air...
That was close... Phew...

"STOP IT NATSU!" Erza finally yelled

She walked towards me and gave me a smile "I believe you, Wendy..."

"Yeah! You're still Wendy!" Everyone agreed with Erza except Natsu, who looked angry and Cheryll, who looked frustrared

"Erza-san... Everyone.... Arigato..."

Cheryll glared at me before walking out with Natsu following behind her

Cheryll.. What has she done to Natsu?
