A/N: Ok, I'm gonna do something new with the translations. When it comes to long sentences or multiple sentences, instead of just typing it out again, I'm just going to put (Translation: ___) and then translate it into English. For simple phrases, I'll still do the complete translation. It's just easier this way.

It's been several days since the public announcement of the Guardian's death. Today, they are holding the public funeral ceremony, which Viktor and Olga go to along with Mark and Debbie as the four sit together. Over a hundred civilians and heroes are in attendance as they all sit at the memorial for the Guardians.

The sound of jets flying is heard as two jets, side by side, with Omni-Man flying in the middle, fly overhead.

Omni-Man breaks off from the jets as he flies high into the air before descending to the podium at the front of the memorial, looking out over the crowd. A live feed of Omni-Man up close is displayed on two screens behind him on either side of the monument, so everyone there can see him as he looks down sadly.

"I've fought the unimaginable in defense of this world. I've battled alien tyrants—defeated nightmares from the deep. Gone toe to toe with ancient gods... but no matter what threat I faced, I knew I wasn't facing it alone. Darkwing, Aquarus, War Woman, Green Ghost, Red Rush, Martian Man, Immortal. The Guardians of the Globe. Today, we have lost titans, protectors... heroes, and we are left to wonder... who will save us now? I will, and so will others like me." Omni-Man said as he looked at Mark and Viktor, making them smile lightly. "New heroes, answering the call. New champions, ready to risk everything to keep this planet safe. All inspired by these great souls who came before us. You will have moments of doubt...of fear...of uncertainty, but in those moments, have faith..." he said as he flew up off the ground slightly. "...and look to the sky," he said before flying up and away.

After the public ceremony, Mark, Viktor, and Debbie went to the private ceremony, where it was only a handful of people. All seven black caskets were before them as they gathered around them.

"We seriously have to put everyone through this again?" Mark asked as they walked through the rain, their umbrellas held over their head, keeping the rain off them.

Eve, who had joined them, sighed in sadness, "The big one is for show. But the public can't know where the actual bodies are buried," Eve explained as Mark looked at her confused. "Souvenir hunters," she said, making Viktor grip his umbrella tightly as he gritted his teeth and narrowed his eyes in anger as he listened to the rainfall mixing with Olga's sobs.

"Jesus," Mark said in shock and horror as Nolan, out of his Omni-Man costume and in his funeral attire, started his speech as he stood in the rain with no umbrella.

"I was never a Guardian of the Globe, but it was the Guardians who welcomed me when I first arrived on this planet. They were my mentors. My comrades. My friends. They knew the reality of this life. Martian Man was exiled from his own people. War Woman was from a different age. Darkwing...," Nolan stopped as he chuckled ruefully before clearing his throat. "Well, Darkwing made his own kind of solitude. It was a rare, lucky few of us who found someone who understood our path, even rarer if they accepted it. I hope they will rest in peace, but at least they will rest together." Nolan said as the caskets were lowered into the ground.

"Get your hands off me!" Olga yelled as they all looked over to her to see her push away Donald, Cecil's right-hand man, as Olga stumbled and fell into the mud.

"Olga, please, calm down," Donald said calmly as Viktor's eyes went down as he sympathized with what Olga was feeling.

"You wouldn't even let me see him. Josef is finally standing still, and I still can't see him!" Olga yelled as she hit the ground and cried.
