Chapter Forty Two

My heart pounds in my chest as sweat trickles down my forehead. Our usual room is taken so we are in one of the practice rooms on the second floor. I stare into the mirror, harshly judging my dancing skills. How am I going to improve if I am not honest with myself? 

Soft pants exit my body as the song stops. I lean against the wall as Hana stops the song and allows us to have a break. I rub my face letting out a soft sigh. 

"God that was difficult.."

I stare up at the ceiling  before looking over to Lihue, my eyebrow raised. I watch as she ushers us over while peeking out of the closed curtains.

"Guys.. There is a crowd out there"

I follow the others over to her and I open the curtains, looking out. Holy shit.. There is a whole ass protest outside! I read the signs as they are all to do with mine and Moonbyuls relationship being restricted an homophobia. I smile slightly at them as they spot us and immediately wave. I wave back before I open the window. A grin forms on my lips and I lean out the window to greet them.

"Starries! Hi!"

I giggle softly as I hear them all yelling but one of them stands out.  

"Are you and Moonbyul together!?"

I cover my mouth, surprised at how loud that Starrie is.

"Yes! We are still together! But Rubis and RBW are forcing us apart!"

I stare watching them as this riles them up and their yelling becomes louder. I quickly move out of the window and close it with the curtains as security guards exit the building. A giggle exits me as I look to the other members. I look to our phones that are set down on the side as my phone lights up and the ring tone I have allocated to Moonbyul goes off. I rush over, answering the phone before I put it to my ear.

"Saemi! Have you seen the crowd outside! I have a massive out outside of the front of RBW!"

I giggle slightly hearing her excited voice.

"Mhm! We also have a crowd outside. Clearly they don't like the company doing this"

I grin hearing the screams of Moomoos from over the phone.

"Woah, they're really loud"

I smile as Moonbyul agrees with me.

"I'm proud of the Starmoos. Clearly they're fighting because they care about us. I don't think the companies can continue with this"

I look to Hana as she tells me to hurry up with the phone call as we still need to practice. I nod softly at her. 

"Yeah, I have to go cause of practice. But we can chat later! Ok ok, I love you too. Byeeeeee~"

I end the call and I look to Hana.

"Let's continue"
