The train arrived at a station near Splatsville but in a desert...
"Um... is this as close as we are going to get to Splatsville..?" I asked
"Yes, this train turns around after this point but Splatsville is visible from here so you should be fine." The conductors replied...
... seriously?
"Inklings or Octolings... or anything nowadays I guess can't survive in a desert... it is too dry and arid for us." I said in response.
"Sorry, I don't make the train tracks, so if you want to go to Splatsville, you gotta get off now." He replied
"Ugh fine..."
I get off the train and it drives away...
Ok... time to travel across this death trap...
"You'll be fine, Octolings can travel the distance to the city less than a day." Sakuya said trying to assure we can make it
"Ok... that's fair... let's just hope it doesn't get too hot..."
I began to walk across the desert wasteland.
"Don't talk unless needed Cosmo, you need all the energy you can get. Just focus on reaching Splatsville."
O-ok...
The desert was harsh... the heat only grew stronger as we went on...
The sand began to settle into my shoes... which hurt because the sand was burning with heat...
The wind picked up sand which also kinda hurt when said grains of sand hit me...
At least this is better than committing genocide on those innocent inklings...

"You need to move on from your trauma and past Cosmo... it will only harm you when you hold on to those things... you are already given another chance." Sakuya told me

I hear chanting nearby... like a cult and it only grew hotter as I grew near...
I wonder towards the chanting...
"What... is that...?" I asked Sakuya
There was huge gathering of something at a pyramid... all of them chanting towards the one on top holding some weapon...
"Reptilians" Sakuya replied
"Do you know what they are doing Sakuya?"
"No... but there is a dark powerful aura coming from the reptilian on the top of the
pyramid... they might have a weapon spirit..."
"that's not good is it?"
"No... not good at all Cosmo..."
"Should we stop them?"
"Not yet... you need better gear to withstand the heat... make it to Splatsville first..."
I nodded and continue walking towards Splatsville
An alarm goes off.... the reptilians went silent...
...
I should get going... I think they know I'm here...
Wait... I hear... them coming
Oh boy... here we go again...
Should I attack or not?
"Hmmm, don't attack yet... if they know you're dangerous, they'll put you in a
higher security cell." Sakuya replied
