Chapter 6: Through the Metro?

I went onward through the Metro

I traveled through these tunnels for what felt ages... but at least I have someone to talk to now

Right?

...

Ok...

Eventually I came across some train next to a... weird box

The box spoke, "Sorry, you must wait to arrive at the PROMISED LAND as there is already a test taker ID 10008"

"Why would I need a test? I'm just going to splatsville" I replied

The box insisted, "but you must want to go the PROMISED LAND and you can take the test and be ID 10009"

"No thanks, I'm just going onto the train and getting off at the station for splatsville"

 I replied trying to get my point out

"Y-You have to take the test to ride the train" The box said on the spot

"Says who? I don't see any rules here so why should believe you.... a talking... weird box"

Sakuya commented, "maybe the box prints the train tickets just like the mammalians?"

"Eh, I'm just going to get on the train and go to splatsville."

"Error Error, task denied, Error Rebooting"

I just look at the box confused... what even is this thing... was it made by the mammalians.

The train arrives at the station...

Sweet, don't have to talk to the box anymore...

I try to board the train but someone stops me

"Ticket please" The weird blue jelly thing said

"Ticket? What ticket?" I asked

"The train boarding ticket... you need it to ride the train..." the jelly thing explained

"Did you not have a ticket? You can get a ticket either through that box or through the metro ticket booth with money" said Sakura

"Ugh, time to get a ticket... wait money? What... is... money?" I asked

The jelly thing just looked at me then headed back inside the train

"Wow,... did he just leave me?"

"Yes, the sea cucumber did in fact leave you. Probably because they don't hear me." Sakuya explained
