At Victor and Gloria's apartment
08:16 AM
Victor woke up and get up from bed, he turns to see Gloria that's still sleeping
"Guess I'll be quiet for now to not wake her up," Victor said
He then gets off from bed and goes to the door to open it to see if the package has arrived or not
He opened the door and sighed because the package has not yet been delivered
But the item in front of the door instead caught his attention
He sees an envelope in front of the door instead, "Who's sending us an envelope?" Victor said
He then picks it up and looks at the address to see if it was put here by accident
He then reads the address, "From... Leon? Wait a minute, then who's... To Victor and Gloria?" Victor was surprised
He went inside the apartment and closes the door behind him
He then opens the letter and sees a piece of paper, "This looks official," Victor said
He starts reading the message, "Your battle is due..." Victor was shocked
He then lets out a scream that can be heard from outside the apartment
Gloria then woke up, "What's with the screaming?!" Gloria was annoyed
"Gloria, look!" He then shows her the message
"The battle is due on the 8th of April 2020?" Gloria read the messages
She then turns to Victor, "Are you sure this isn't an April fool's prank?" Gloria asked
"Nope it isn't, I hope so," Victor said
"If that's so, then let's start training for it," Gloria said while getting up from bed
"Yeah" Victor responded
The montage of the two training
On April 1st, Victor is training his Drednaw and Gloria is her Ludicolo
On April 2nd, Victor is training his Vikavolt and Gloria is her Boltund
April 3rd, Victor is training his Centiskorch and Gloria is her Flygon
This goes on until April 7th when they take a break
Victor's pokemon in his party were Drednaw, Vikavolt, Centiskorch, Machamp, Gardevoir, and Inteleon
Gloria's pokemon in her party were Ludicolo, Boltund, Flygon, Lucario, Florges, and Cinderace
On the 7th of April, 2020
In the evening
They're pretty tired from the training
"At least today we're getting a break," Victor said
"Yeah, but tomorrow is the day we're battling Leon," Gloria said
Victor then felt something in his pocket and take it out
He then remembered it, "Brave Dragon and Storm Eagle" Victor said while looking at the red books
Gloria then sees what he's holding, "What's that?" She asked
He turns to her, "Oh, these are just books," Victor said
"Are you trying to be a librarian or something?" Gloria asked
That then made Victor think about it, 'Wait, maybe a librarian knows about these books' Victor thought
He then gets up and goes to the door
"Where are you going?" Gloria asked while looking at him
"I'm going to the library for a while" Victor replied
