"You see I looked in the mirror and almost fainted, because my hair looked like something Picasso painted."

Omori and his friends were having a picnic as usual. Basil was eating his food when he got hair in his face, ultimately getting into his mouth. "Hmm, my hair is getting quite long... perhaps I should get a haircut."
Basil talked about getting a haircut and his friends agreed. Usually Mari is the one who cuts everyone's hair when it gets too long but this time Kel interfered. "Ooh, can I try cutting your hair? Don't worry I'll do a good job."
Basil looked over at his friends and they were all shaking their heads no but Basil decided why not give Kel a chance? It can't be that bad, right?

"Okay Basil you know the drill. Just relax and enjoy Kel's super amazing haircutting skills." Kel was preparing Basil for his haircut. Their friends were gathered around them, waiting to see how well Kel could cut Basil's hair.
"Hmm, okay this looks good so far." Kel started off by snipping the long pieces of hair off. Everything seemed to be going well until more snips were heard.
Snip Snip
All Basil heard was his hair being trimmed... but it didn't stop. It was Kel's first time cutting hair so maybe he's just making sure it's perfect. Yeah that's it, no worries. He's just overthinking things, might as well relax.
"Alright Basil I think your hair looks great! Make sure to rate Kel's services 5 stars." Basil zoned out during his haircut but now Kel has announced that he finished.
"Ooh, can I see?" "Of course let me get a mirror." As Kel went to fetch a mirror he looked over at his friends and saw their giggling expressions.
Once Kel came back with the mirror he then realized what was so "funny" to them.

Basil woke up with his friends around him, they seemed to have concerned looks on their faces. 'Oh thank goodness it was just a dream.' Basil thought to himself.
"Oh dear, oh dear. Basil... your hair it's." Huh? His hair? No, no it was just a dream. Just a dream. "What's wrong with my hair?" "I think it' would be better to see for yourself."
Basil walked toward the bathroom just hoping to not embrace the worst. Kel walked in shortly after and tried comforting his friend. "Heyyy Basil buddy. I don't think I did a bad job... I mean it could be worse."
Bad decision
Basil was not the type to yell or scream. He was known as the kind gentle friend of the group. But he couldn't let this slide. He finally snapped.
