At the Daily Bugle
You in Jonah's office.
Jonah: Where were you when that 'Scorpion' let you go? Ha, I got it! Hoffman!
He quickly appears.
Hoffman: Yes?
Jonah: I got the name. Scorpion.
Hoffman: Brilliant. As a nickname, he could be, 'Scorp.' I know it's—
Jonah: Terrible! Get out!
Hoffman leaves.
Jonah: Anyways. Where were you?
Y/N: I was getting some photos.
You hand them over.
Jonah: Scorpion tail, Scorpion foot, Spider-Man, Scorpion, Spider. This god fore-taken town is overtaken by animals.
Y/N: Spider-Man is a man. And the Green Goblin and Scorpion are people too.
Jonah: They're all a man. What's next a human rat? 'The Human-Rat outlives entire civilizations.' Huh Huh? What do you think?
Y/N: I'm not sure if—
Jonah: Why the hell am I asking you? You're a photographer. An overpriced one at that. Six photos, twenty-five bucks each. Makes it one-twenty-five even.
Y/N: But—
Jonah: Whatever it is save it. You're wasting time, go snap some shots.
You leave his office.
Your phone starts buzzing.
Y/N: Hey, Gwen.
Gwen: Can you meet me?
Y/N: You bet.
Gwen: Now?
Y/N: Yeah. Where?
Gwen: At the center bridge, in Central Park.
Y/N: On my way—
She hung up.
Y/N: Weird.
At the park
You see Gwen walking up to the bridge.
Y/N: You look beautiful. Are you okay?
Gwen: No. There's something I have to tell you, Y/N.
Y/N: Alright.
Gwen: It's not working. You and me.
Y/N: What?
Gwen: I don't wanna see you anymore.
Y/N: What are you talking about?
Gwen: I don't know. I'm lonely. You aren't there for me. I can't do this. It's over.
Y/N: No. Please. Please don't say that. I know I've been distant, but I can do better. I can stop focusing on being Spider-Man. I know ever since Gargan escaped I haven't been the same. But once I catch him, it'll be back to normal.
Gwen: It's not that simple. You're a superhero, it will never be normal. I want a normal life. I don't want to worry every second that the person I care about, could die any second. We're done.
Tears instantly fall down your face.
Gwen leaves the bridge.
