We got to the hotel and ordered some take out. Once we finished eating i went to brush so I could build up some courage to talk to him.
It wasn't that I was scared, I was just a little umm I don't know reluctant on how he will react since it is a sensitive topic
"Manik" I called and he hummed
"Can we talk talk" I asked and he nodded patting the bed beside him
I sat down beside him and he pulled the blankets over us but I sat up while he laid down beside me
"Lay down" he said
"No, umm okay so"
"Are you pregnant or something" he asked
"Well I could have been if you did your work right but you haven't so back to the topic"
He chocked on thin air hearing me.
"You are straight forward" he commented
"I know"
He pulled me on him tugging a piece of hair behind my ear
"You know I could do my work right as you like to say" he said in that sexy deep voice and I was distracted
Every part of my body wanted him, I felt this umm sensation down there and I would be lying if I said that I didn't want him to just rip my clothes of and make love to me because I very well want him to.
I want to, I have waited my entire life to find someone who would love me and care for me the way he does and now that I finally have him, I want to explore things with him.
"Jaan did you wanna say anything" he whispered caressing the back of my neck a little as he tugged some pieces of hair behind my ear
I closed my eyes as I felt his lips on my ear, nibbling lightly and all the self talk, self control just went down the freaking drain
"Nandini" he whispered placing a kiss behind my ear, just his voice is enough to create a havoc inside me
I had to get it together, I really did so I pulled back a little and opened my eyes to find him looking at me confused.
"Im sorry if I"
"No no, god no, I want to but this talk is very important umm can we wait at least until this talk is over" I interrupted him
"So you want to" he asked and I nodded
"I do" he nodded and laid back down
"Okay what is it" he asked with his hand over my lap as he caressed my thigh
"Would you do me a favour" I asked and he nodded
"Of course I would, what is it"
"Can you please go to your dad's wedding" I asked
"Ways to ruin my mood nandini, you should definitely write a book" he said as his jaw tightened
"Manik at least sun toh lo"
"No thanks, I am not interested in hearing about his wedding or going to his wedding, its fucked up that you are even discussing it with me"
"But Manik"
"No nandini, I have already told you no didn't I"
"You did but"
"But no, I am not going there for fucks sake that's the last thing id wanna do"
"Manik you are hurting yourself, ma and your dad all in once. Jsut please talk it out with him"
"And ask him why the fuck he abandoned us ya no thanks, not a conversation I wanna ever have"
"Why can't you forgive him" I asked
"BECAUSE HE FUCKING BETRAYED US GOD DAMNIT" he yelled making me flinch back a little with his tone
"He cheated on ma so yes I understand you feel that way but ma is relieved and happy to be out of this relationship then why can't you just talk to him. Sure the result may not be greta but at least you'd know that you tried" I said
"Do not and I mean this nandini do not try mending things with my dad and I. I do not want or need that" he said and I sighed
"But why not, why can't you just stop being stubborn and just talk to him"
"I DON'T WANT TO NANDINI STOP INTERFERING IN A PART I DON'T WANT YOU TO" he said in a very stern voice
His hands formed a fist and his jaw was tightened, as much as I hated making him angry this is something he had to hear.
"Fine" I mumbled getting up and grabbing my phone
"Where are you going" he asked seeing me put on my sandals
"Not your business, I don't want you interfering" I repeated his line without even looking at him
I walked outside and called ma because she needs to talk to him. His dad's wedding is in 3 months and this man is not ready to listen.
"Hello nandini are you okay, is Manik okay?" She asked
"Ma relax, everyone is fine. Umm are you doing something right now" I asked seeing it's 8 in the night
"Umm I was actually" she was hesitant then I heard a manly giggle
"Oh my gosh ma, you are on a date"
"No I mean no yes wait" she is so cute
"Ma relax, umm would you be able to come over to the palace umm one of Manik's hotels, bring your date too"
'Is everything okay" she asked
"Ya but your son is a stubborn ass, sorry I know language but he jsut won't listen"
"His dad's wedding" she asked
"Ya"
"Okay umm ill be there in 15 minutes"
"Thank you ma, also bring your date pleaseee, I wanna meet him" I heard a laugh int he background
"Okay fine, I will"
"Thank you"
"Pagal ladki" she said making me chuckle
I walked down to the reception and waited for ma, my phone was blowing up with manik's phone calls and messages.
