Percy's pov: (continuation from last chapter)

After our massive escapade, we asked tom were we could go for shopping. Instead of answering, he led us to the back of the shop and tapped a few bricks on the wall with a..... Stick? Yup, it was a stick.

At first I thought that he was loony, that's when the walls started moving and I was like, "What in the name of Hades?!?"

"My dad doesn't like for his name to be used as a swear word, Percy!" said Nico, through gritted teeth.

I ignored him and watched contently as the bricks of the wall began to open up in an arch way.

"In you go. Oh and um..... Be back by 10 pm. Have fun and try not to break anything while you're at it," Tom said before shuffling back inside to welcome a confused looking kid.

I was the first to walk through the arch and found myself in a street filled with shops supplying items that I had never before seen in my life. It was like meeting Carter all over again!

Leo was grinning massively and intently gazing at the items around the place. I ushered Annabeth forward and said," How about the team spit up?"

"Well, I don't think that's a good idea but come to think of it, we would never get our shopping done if we didn't split up," was her reply.

Jason walked over to us and asked," Is there a problem, guys?"

"Percy and I think that the group should split because this way we will never get our shopping done," Annabeth replied.

Jason thought for a moment then nodded in agreement and announced the plan to the group.

"We can get the money exchanged then we can split up," Hazel remarked.

"Exactly so the teams will be:

1.     Piper, Jason, Nico and Leo

2.     Percy, me, Hazel, Frank and Thalia

Is everyone okay with this?" Annabeth said

Everybody nodded so we set out in search of some place name 'ginger oats.'

Finally, we came across the massive structure of a dwarf-worked bank. Most kids were filling into it and coming out with drooping banks so we guessed that it was the bank.

We walked in through the double doors of the palace like structure and gazed in amazement at the architecture. Realization dawned on me, if Annabeth started talking about this place, we would never get out of here so I did the only possible thing I could. I resorted to using Piper.

"Oh my gods look at the arch..." Annabeth started but I slapped my hand in front of month and turned to Piper," Use your charms speak!"

"Annabeth, you do not want to talk about architecture until we get back to camp. You want to exchange our money for wizarding coins and buy the stuff written on that list of yours," Piper said in a tone heavily masked by charms speaks.

Thank you, I mouthed to her and she just looked pleased with herself. We walked up to a small man that Annabeth had called dwarf. We stood there in uncomfortable silence until Leo said," Yo, Excuse me? Where can we get this money exchanged into wizarding bucks?"

The dwarf looked up and examined us and said, in a sweet but forced voice," Second desk, to the right and May I say, I have heard stories about you nine. Is it all true?" He turned to face Annabeth and I and continued," Have you two actually walked through the depths of Tart..."

"I don't think that's it's any of your business but yes, everything is true," I replied curtly.

Jason patted me on my back and motioned for me to follow.

.......... PAGE BREAK..........

..........OUTSIDE BANK.........

"Here you go, Jason," Annabeth said as she handed him a pouch filled with gold coins called something like, call on.

Annabeth revised the list with Piper who had agreed that they would meet at the pet shop after exactly one hour. Group one had to get a look around. In the meanwhile, group two had to buy books for all of them. The books that were needed were:

1.     Advanced potion-making by Libatius Borage

2.     Confronting the Faceless

3.     A guide to advanced transfiguration by Emeric Switch

4.     Advanced Rune translation

5.     Greek mythology by Emit Jones

6.     Flesh eating trees of the world

7.     The standard book of spells book 7 by Miranda Goshawk

We bid the other group good bye and went on our separate ways.

"Hey, Annabeth, where do we get the books?" I asked as the group trailed behind us.

"Um, someplace named, 'Floor and boots', "Annabeth replied after checking her list.

We walked around for a while before spotting the shop. Annabeth gasped and started towards the shop with Hazel, Frank, Thalia and I in pursuit. We walked through the glass sliders of the shop and looked around, hoping to find someone who worked here.

The place was bustling. There were people everywhere. Then a boy around my age bumped into me and knocked me to the ground.

Thalia was right behind me so she got knocked over as well.

"What is your problem, Jackson!?!" Thalia yelled, which caused some people to look in our direction.

"It isn't my fault!" I yelled back. The blonde got off of me and said," Watch where you're going, slush brains! You're lucky my father isn't here otherwise he'd sue you!"

Thalia looked as though she might pulverize him at the spot. She got up off the ground and helped me up.

She raised her fist to punch him but before it reached him, I grabbed her arm and yanked in back and whispered to her," Calm down, it's still early and I really don't want a fight to start. Just let it go?" I tried to calm her down.
