𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗲 was pitch black. Until I fell and hit the ground, landing on my back. "Ow," I say to myself. "(Y/n)? Get up come on," a voice said. I opened my eyes to see Diego, holding his hand out for me to grab. As I grabbed his hand, we both turned around at the sound of electricity crackling. "And there goes the portal," Diego said. "Help! Someone help me!" a lady shouted. "Come on!" Diego exclaimed. We both ran towards the sound of the lady. Diego quickly ran in throwing a knife toward the guy, trapping him and punching him. I walked towards them, Diego was handing the lady her purse back. "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country," a voice from a tv said. "Is that John F. Kennedy? I asked. "It is," Diego muttered. "What the hell did Five do now?" Diego asked, turning to look at me. "I don't know. But we have to find everyone else," I suggested. "We should. But what if we saved him?" Diego asked me, finally looking away from the tv. "John F. Kennedy?" I asked him. "Obviously. We have a chance to save him," Diego told me. "I don't think we should mess around Diego," I replied. I turn around and see the date on another tv. "September 1, 1963. We're in the past," I gasped. "No surprise there. Now we really do have a chance at saving him. Let's go," Diego lead, starting to walk away. "But Diego we have to find everyone else!" I shouted at him, making him stop and come back to me. "Okay listen, I'm not going to leave you behind. So here's the plan. We save Kennedy and then we find the rest of the shitheads in this family. And because you're basically my younger sister, I'm responsible for you. So let's go," He told me, dragging me away with him.

"Thank you, Alan, for bringing that to the group. I fear that is something we can all relate too. Okay, who else would like to share? Anyone? Come on, who's next? Diego, you've been awfully quiet this morning," the Doctor said. "Just taking it all in Doc," Diego replied. "Letting all the healing shit wash over me," Diego continued. We had to sit in this stupid mental hospital all because of him. But at least we made a friend. "Last week you mentioned your father. How your whole childhood felt like some kind of experiment," the Doctor said. "It was an experiment," Diego corrected him. "Hmm. Or did it just feel like an experiment?" the Doctor asked. "No. It was literally an experiment. Right (Y/n)?" Diego asked, looking at me. "Yeah," I agreed. Whatever helped us 'cope' so we can leave soon. "Let's dig deeper. You say your father is a villain," the Doctor informed him. "Hell yeah," Diego responded. He doesn't make this any easier for us. "And you had to play hero to make daddy mad," the Doctor added. Lila, our friend who sat next to me, started to laugh. She stopped laughing after she saw that no one laughed with her. "I'm a grown-ass man Dr. Moncton—" Diego tried to say. "Who still defines himself in opposition to his father. His dead father. Even your younger sister, (Y/n), seems to be dealing with your father better than you are. That isn't really defining yourself is it Diego?" the Doctor asked. "Yeah, why don't you tell that to Luke Skywalker?" Diego's asked The Doctor. Everyone around us seemed confused. "I know you don't get it but that is an excellent reference," Diego broke the silence. "Humor is good. Truth is better. Who is the real Diego?" the Doctor continued to ask. "I don't know," Diego replied. "I guess I've never known. But I'm ready. I'm ready to find out," Diego answered, tearing up a little bit. Everyone around us started to clap. I just wanna leave. "Thank you Diego," the Doctor told him. "Okay. Quiet time until lunch," the Doctor ordered. "You have to actually make progress so we can leave," I whispered to him. "I'm trying!" He whispered shouted back. I could feel Lila lean over toward us. "You're so full of shit. Not you
(Y/n)," Lila said. "Tears too much?" Diego asked. "He saw right through it," Lila confirmed. "No he totally ate that shit up," Diego fought back. "Bet you three lunch Jell-O's you're wrong," Lila betted. "You're on," Diego challenged. It's official, we're never leaving. "What is he doing?" I asked Lila. "Just wait. I'm surprised Mr. Doctor didn't ask you to say anything. What's the trick?" Lila asked. "No trick. Just luck." I replied. Diego started to shout, catching our attention. "I'm okay," Diego reassured the Doctors. "God. We are never leaving," I told Diego.
