Jisoo was washing dishes at the sink when she heard a knock at the door. She wiped her hands with a paper towel before making her way there and just as she opened the door she was lifted off of the ground into a bear hug.

"Noona, I missed you so much." Jungkook exclaim as he spun her around before lowering her down again. Jisoo who was taken back by this was only able to pat his back before muttering "let go, I can't breathe!" Jungkook let go of her and that when she finally saw his face "Didn't you miss me?" He said with a charming smile.

"No" jisoo said with a straight face before moving past Jungkook to where Rose stood a little awkwardly. Jisoo gently pulled her in before saying "I only missed my pasta"

"Ouch!" Jungkook placed a hand on his heart as if hurt by her words causing both jisoo and rose to roll their eyes.

Jisoo jokingly hit his elbow before shooing them off to get fresh so they could join her for lunch.

As they went away jisoo got busy with preparing lunch, she wasn't aware that they would be back so soon. She thought they still had a week, she was surprised by their sudden arrival but glad nonetheless.

She made something simple knowing that rose preferred simple meals on the other hand Jungkook could eat anything and everything if it was edible.

The dakjuk ( chicken porridge) was done and smelled amazing, jisoo was happy with her cooking, she also made some side dishes that looked and tasted just as good.

Now it was time to set the table, she placed the spoons on the table and tiptoed to get the dishes from top shelf. No mater how hard she tried her hands would barely touch the plates.

Suddenly a muscular arm from behind stretched out to grab the plates for her. "You are too short" he mumbled under his breath. Jisoo scowled and turned around to give him a piece of her mind but stopped when she noticed how close he was. She was taken back for the 2nd time that day.

She waited for him to hand her the plates and move away while throwing an other insult at her short height but he just kept staring at her with a playful smile like an idiot and that's when rosé walked in, she too stopped at the door by the sight in Infront of her. There was a look of confusion on her face.

In a split second, jisoo took the plates from Jungkook's hands and told him that her height wasn't his concern. Jungkook sheepishly rubbed the back of his head.

They all sat down when everything was set on the table. The awkward silence was bothering jisoo a little. She looked at rose to see her silently eating than she looked back at Jungkook who was happily enjoying his food.

"I missed your hand made dakjuk so much, isn't it right Rosie!" Jungkook looked at rose too.

She smiled in return and told her that she missed it too.

And then there was that awkward silence again.

Jisoo decided that now the two were here she should tell them about what she's been up to as well, it will be a good ice breaker.

"So, while you two love birds were away, I started a job at a small company " Jisoo smiled to herself.

Instantly Rosè's face warmed up as she congratulated jisoo on her next step. "Unnie, I'm so proud of you" she exclaimed.

Jisoo looked at Jungkook for his reaction, but found that he seemed to be put off by the news.

"Why?" He asked as he focused on the meal.

"Why?" Jisoo repeated his question with a frown.

"Yeah, why did you feel the need to have a job?"

"Why can't I? Rose has a job, can't I get one?" Jisoo questioned.

"No." Jungkook said plainly.

Rose too was urprised by Jungkook's reaction. It was a good step that jisoo was moving out of her comfort zone towards a normal life, Jungkook should've supported her.

"I don't see anything wron-" rose's words were cut short by Jungkook.

"Rose stay out of this."

"Why is it wrong for me?" Jisoo looked down.

"Because unlike rose, you aren't well." Came his cold reply.

Jisoo almost had tears in her eyes, she did not expected Jungkook to react this way, he was always there for her ever since she opened her eyes in an unknown world. So she expected to have his support always. But now she felt her heart crushing.

She got up from the table "I think, I'll leave first," she rushed to the main door without bothering to even grab her clutch.

"Where are you going?" Jungkook asked but was only answered by the sound of slammed door.

Rose looked at Jungkook with a scowl. "What is wrong with you? She was so happy and you ruined it, have you gone mad!"

"I told you rose stay out of it." Jungkook slammed the spoon down before getting up and going away.

"You know we can't keep her to ourselves forever right?" Rose put the spoon down as well before standing up.

Jungkook stopped in his track.

"Why not? I don't see no problem with that."

Jisoo was sitting on a random bench crying her eyes out when she felt someone wrapping her in their coat.

She was so embarrassed that she hid her face in between her hands while trying to calm herself.

"Please leaves." She whispered " I don't wanna talk"

Jimin sat beside her as he pulled her protesting body close to him. "Shh, it's okay." He whispered as he affectionately rubbed her back. At first she struggled to get out of his embrace. She was too embarrassed to be seen like this and not being able to walk away only made her feel worse. She cried harder at the feeling of humiliation from earlier and now with the added frustration.

After what seemed to her like hours, jisoo calmed down, she felt so weak that she stayed in his embrace. In this cold winter night his warm body felt more comforting than anything.

She felt him kissing the crown of her head and just like that, her heart skipped a beat. She looked up to see his face, his eyes stared into hers. He gently kissed her forehead next.

"Are you feeling ok?" He asked. "Do you want me to get you something?"

She shook her head before burying her face back into his chest. "I'm fine now." She felt his hug getting a little tighter, pulling her closer, causing her to blush.

"Do you want to talk?" He asked and she shook her head again. "Do you want me to take you home?" She shook her head again.

" Just stay with me like this" she whispered.

He moved her face so that she could look at him. Slowly he leaned in and kissed her nose causing her to scrunch it up Jimin laughed at this and soon she joined in too.

"Thank you Jimin." She meant those words more than anything in life. In her heart she was sure that she was falling for this man.

Jimin smiled before kissing her lips, and she kissed back.

"Jungkook, jisoo forgot her phone at home, it's already too late!" Rose seemed worried, the last thing she wanted on their first day back home was to have a fight.

Jungkook didn't said anything, he just grabbed the coat from the rack before making his way to the door. "I'll go look for her, if she comes back while I'm away just call me."

Hmm, y'all must be wondering why I'm active all so suddenly. Trust me I am thinking about the same thing.
