Chapter 54

Avu made him stand near car and was about to go towards passenger seat but Abhi was just standing staring at ground.

Avu: Abhi car mein betho

Abhi: Avu did you see what just happened? No one informed me about Vaish's accident and now everyone asked me to just leave. What have I even done?

He looked at her while tears rolled down his cheeks. Avu sighed and went near him. She hugged him and rubbed his back.

Avu: Don't worry. Everything will be alright. Let's leave. Then we can discuss. I think you won't be able to drive. Give me the keys

Abhi handed her the keys and both left for home. Drive was silent. Abhi was just looking outside. Scene at Vaish's home was roaming in his mind continously. They reached Abhi's home. Avu opened of door of his side and they went inside. Avu gave him water but it didn't go under his throat. Avu sat beside him.

Avu: Abhi I think Vaishu is in some problem

Abhi: Hmm?

Avu: The way she was behaving. She didn't even talk to us. The way she asked us to leave. I think there is something wrong with her. There is some huge problem which we are not aware of. She is hiding something. Even Mallika's behavior was too weird. And why would aunty ask you to leave abruptly saying if you want her alive then stay away from her

Abhi was thinking everything again.

Avu: There is surely something. This sudden accident. Then Vaish's changed behavior. We need to find out about it. I am sure Vaish is going through something

Abhi: You are right Avu. In normal circumstances she will never behave like this. I need to find out and help her out whatever she is going through

Avu: Don't worry. We will surely do something

Abhi: But Avu she didn't even trust me that much to share her problem

Avu: I can understand her Abhi. Even I trusted you a lot but I couldn't share. Sometimes it's not just about trust

Abhi nodded understanding her point.

In evening

Avu was talking with Sid on phone and she ended up telling everything about Vaish's accident and whatever happened at her home.

Sid: Is she alright?

Avu: We don't know much. She didn't talk to us properly. But ya by seeing, we can say she is recovering

Sid: I want to go and meet her

Avu: I don't know. She didn't meet or talk to us properly

Sid: Why will Vaish behave like this?

Avu: Wahi to samaj nhi aa rha. We all met some days before only and she was perfectly fine. Something happened after that accident

Sid: Oh. But just tell me whatever happens

Avu: Yee sure

They talked for sometime. Then hanged up the call. Abhi kept calling and messaging Vaish but she didn't give a single response. Next day they again went to her home. Sid and Sum also joined them. Her mother again requested them to leave. Vaish also refused to meet them.

Mallika: Sorry guys. You all please go from here

Abhi: Mallika what the hell is going on?

Mallika: Sorry Abhi but Vaish doesn't want to meet you guys

Sum: (shouted) Are you mad or what Mallika? Why did you not inform us about Mallika?

Sid: Mallika you should have told us

Mallika's eyes were filled with tears.

Sum: Hum sab dost hai uske dushman nhi aur hume hi batana zaroori nhi samjha

Mallika: Guys I have no explanation for all this. I can just say I am sorry

She shut the gate with that without waiting for anyone's reply.

5 days passed

Everyone kept trying to call Vaish but she didn't pick a single call. They used to go to her home everyday but she didn't speak a single word. Today also they all came to her home with a hope that they will get to know something.

Abhi: Vaishu please just tell me once what is wrong. You know I love you. I know there is some problem you are going through. I promise tumhare lie saari duniya se lad jaaonga. Ek baar batao to sahi

All were hoping Vaish to speak up but she just kept staring at wall.

Abhi: Vaishu please batado mujhe kya problem. I promise I will always be there for you. I promise to help you. I promise to support you in every situation. Ek baar batao to sahi

Suddenly Vaish shouted listening to his pleadings and said something making everyone shock.
