IN WAIT OF ECSTASY (COMPLETED)

Chapter 5

Abhi quickly ran inside the room. He saw Sid was lying on bed. Crying and screaming in pain. He also noticed Sum also rushing out from washroom towards Sid panicking.

Sum (rubbing Sid's hands): Calm down buddy. Calm down.

Sum noticed Sid's condition was getting worse.

Sum (panicking): You took medicine Sidoo?

Sid was breathing heavily and crying in pain. He somehow shook his head.

Sum: Okay!! Wait a minute. I will bring wait a minute.

Sum nonchalantly mumbled looking for Sid's medicine.

Sum: Kaha rakhi hain tune Sid?

He asked in panic. Sid wasn't able to answer his question. Abhi was looking at them in shock. He was standing clueless. When his eyes fell on medicine bottle which near bed on table. Abhi quickly grabbed it.

Abhi (showing it): Ye hain kya Sumedh?

Sum saw it and nodded. Abhi threw medicine and Sum caught it.

Sum: Sid calm down and take this medicine. You will be fine calm down. Take it.

Sum said stuffing medicine in Sid's mouth and made him drink water. Sum then sat beside him and was caressing Sid's forehead to make his mind relax.

Slowly after some minutes, Sid calmed as medicines affect started and his pain decreased. Sum continued caressing his hair.

After sometime Sid fell in deep slumber of sleep. He was calm and his breathing was also normal. Sum continued caressing his hair as tears brimmed in his eyes.

Sum: Kyu apna dhyaan nhi rakhta tu hnn?

Abhi: What happened to him?

Abhi asked still in shock. It was damn shocking for him to see Sid's condition.

Sum: Ah!! Umm.... He has health issue.

Abhi: That was clear. I saw he has health issue but exactly what?

Sum: Hmm...... Yaa his immune system is weak. So new environment you know. His body need time to adjust with. Don't worry he is fine now.

Abhi: Hmm.... Okay good night.

Abhi laid on his side. Sum wiped sweat, tears from Sid's face and kissed on his forehead. He carefully made Sid lay properly on bed and covered him with duvet.

Abhi saw everything but stayed quiet.

Next morning

Girls woke up and got ready. For some time, they waited for boys but boys didn't come. As it was getting late, they decided to go and check in boys room.

Meanwhile in boy's room

Sid woke up a little late. Abhi and Sum woke up like usual. Sum was ready and Abhi was getting ready. Sid woke up and sat on bed. Sum stood in front of him glaring.

Sid (rubbing his eyes): What?

Sum: Medicines kyun nahin li? Kitni baar bola hain don't skip your medicines. Tere pass dimak hain?

He said while glaring Sid.

Sid: Umm... Sorry I forgot.

Sum: Kya Karu main teri is sorry ka? Koi idea hain tujhe main kal raat ko kitna darr gaya tha? Kya maza aata hain ye sab karne mein?

Sid: I am sorry yaar. I didn't mean to hurt you or make you worry. It's just slipped out of my mind.

Sum roll his eyes.

Sum: Don't you repeat it again. Keep it in mind. Got it?

Sid nodded innocently.

Sum: Ye shakal banana band kar. I don't give fucking damn. Tujhe kyun nahin samajhta mera tere alawa or koi nahin hain iss duniya mein

He said as his eyes got moistened.

Sid: Promise I will be careful now onwards.

Sid said pulling him in a tight hug and rubbed Sum's back. Sum hugged him back tightly as his life depended on him. Tears came out of his eyes. Just then Abhi came. Sid went to get ready and both were waiting for him. After some minutes, he came out.

Sid: Let's go guys or we will be late.

Sum and Abhi nodded.

Abhi: Are you fine now? Kal tera bhai kitna dar gaya tha tujhe idea bhi hain.

Sid was about to reply but girls entered in room. They heard Abhi's words.

Mallika: Kya hua tha kal?

Vaish: Sid you are fine? Kya hua tujhe?

Abhi saw girls. He noticed Avni. She was already staring him but Abhi looked away. Sid stood quiet not knowing what to answer. He looked at Sum.

Sum: Don't worry guys. He is fine now. He has weak immune system. So new environment mein he need time to adjust.

Vaish: Okay. Sid pakka you are fine?

Sid nodded with small smile. He was happy to see someone genuinely worried for him.

Mallika: Let's go then or we will be late.

Everyone nodded and went for lectures.
