Yeji's POV

I was really amazed on how my Chaeryeong looked at the shots she had taken during her photoshoot. She was definitely gorgeous, I would say it again and again every single day and won't get exhausted of it.

We were just in my office, seated comfortably on the couch as she was leaning against me, reading a book that she brought. I was always curious on what she's reading...

"What are you reading darling?" I asked her

"Oh, it's about two idols who get to be girlfriends by a tv show. It's actually nice... I love the characters" she said with a smile

"What's the title?" I asked her

"We Made It" she said and I nodded

I kept caressing her hair as she focused herself on reading but then we were both interrupted when someone knocked on my office room door.

"Come in" I said then the door opened slowly

"Good day Mrs. Hwang but your brother and Father is here to talk to you" my secretary said

"Tell them I'll be up in a few minutes" I said and my secretary nodded before leaving

"I have to go first darling okay? will you be fine here?" I asked her

"I will, I'll call you when something happens" she said and I chuckled, she always know what I tell her. I always want to keep her safe, as she should always be.

I bid her goodbye once again and pecked her lips before leaving my office. I went to the meeting room where me, appa and Hyunjin would always talk. I just hope that we get more answers today.

I entered the room and saw both of em waiting at the couch.

"You called" I said and then went to the desk

"Yes, we actually got new information" Hyunjin said and then I nodded. He has a new flashdrive, I connected it to the laptop and waited til it was okay for us to open some files.

"Where did you got this new information?" I asked them

"There was another cctv nearby the area of the accident so we asked if we could get a video from that day. It isn't very clear anymore but I hope it would at least help a little" appa said and I nodded

I went to search for the video from the day of the car accident. It was really hard to figure out since it was from long ago and it wasn't that easy to see what was in the video. Hyunjin took over and I stood at the side to see but when he found the video, I immediately went closer to have a better look.

"Stop" I said when I noticed something in the video

"Zoom in to that other car" I said and Hyunjin did as so

"What's the connection of the other car to the accident?" he asked me

"I'm not sure but we just need to make sure" I told him and he nodded

I was able to figure what was written on the plate number so I listed it down. We kept repeating the video again and again which made me realize something.

"Their car was really speeding too much" I said and sighed

"Maybe there was something wrong with the brakes" Dad said
