Imani: "maybe we can hit that indoor trampoline park after this" she smiled

I don't know what's goin on with her today but she's been keeping me occupied all day

Now I know what you're gonna say

Yes she's my girl, yes that's what girlfriends do, and no I don't mind BUT this isn't like mani at all

Our date nights usually consist of going shopping, going out to eat, coming home and chilling, cooking dinner together, watching TV, great conversation, and sex before bed, in that order

On our date nights we have a no cell phone rule.

We both turn our phones on DND and the only app we're allowed to use is the camera.

The thing is that Today has been unusual as hell

For starters mani woke me up at like 11 am which is weird because she doesn't normally let me sleep in, Then when I woke up and looked at my phone the shit was dead!

I know I plugged it in before I went to bed but when I got up the plug wasn't in the socket and the phone was off

I took my shower in silence which was weird as fuck and when I got out I went downstairs only to find mani starting to cook breakfast

Her ass NEVER cooks breakfast!

She invited me to help so I did and when the food was done we sat down and talked about random Shit

I did the dishes while she went and got dressed for the day

I knew today was our day together so I was already prepared to go out and have some fun

We went to the mall, went out to eat, hit the arcade, then she wanted to go to the aquarium so that's what we did.

I didn't mind the aquarium detour cause I like sharks and shit.

We spent about 2 and a half hours there because she wanted to see everything

Now she wants to go jump around but I'm ready to go home and cook dinner

We left the house at 2 pm; it's almost 7 now

"Trampoline park?! Mani we need to go home and cook; next date night we can go"

She nodded as we got in the car

Imani: "can I use your phone?"

"Go ahead" I said as I started the car

I just wanted to go home and relax

Once we got home we both took showers and got comfortable

I grabbed my phone to put on some music but mani damn near snatched it from me

I just looked at her like she was out of her damn mind

Imani: "let's start dinner" She smiled

She was starting to scare the fuck out of me

"How about you start and I'll join in later when you stop acting funny" I said as I walked out of the kitchen

I went to the living room and turned the TV on.

I figured I'd tune into some ESPN just to see what bullshit they were talking about today

Imani: "how about we sit and talk some more" She said as she ran over and unplugged the TV

"Imani what the fuck is up with you?"

Imani: "nothing I just think we should do something more productive...let's uh.. go play basketball. You like basketball"
