Chapter Eight

"How do you feel.. About.. Being intimate..?"

I look at the woman across from me as her arms are crossed tightly against her chest.

"It's weird.. And awkward.. Mostly because we barely know each other.. But also because this is happening very fast"

I nod softly, agreeing with her statement. Being intimate with someone who is basically a stranger is a lot asked for. I look to the door as the five people exit. After saying their goodbyes our managers leave.

"Right. Good morning girls, I am San Minsoo. You can call me either Minsoo or just Min. Today will be having a two-hour session, first, off we will be doing a small get to know me activity. We will all sit across from each other and take turns and saying things about us"

I nod softly as we sit in a triangle. I'm glad we are starting with a get to know me activity.. Hopefully she is easing us into this instead of throwing us in the deep end.

"Now we will stand up, introduce ourselves and name five facts about us. I will go first"

I watch as she confidently gets up from her spot.

"Hello, I am Minsoo. I am a twenty five year old and I am an acting instructor. My favourite colour is yellow, I have a cat called peach and a dog called mango, I really enjoy the summer heat, I really like taking care of plants and baking is one of my hobbies!"

I stare as she sits back down, a grin spread across her face. How did she do that so quick.. I look between the two women and I get up, brushing off my leggings.

"Hello.. I am Saemi.. I am twenty and I am a visual of ISRY.. I.. enjoy eating my fellow member Lihua's cooking.. I really like practising late at night.. I also like plants.. I really like the winter.. and I like the cold.."

I sit down quickly, holding my hands in my lap. That was.. Easier than I thought.. I smiled slightly as Minsoo gives me prayers. I look at Moonbyul as she stands.

"Hello, I am Moonbyul. I am twenty nine and I am the rapper of Mamamoo. My lucky number is twenty two, my lucky colour is red, I run a radio show called
Studio Moon Night, I am number twenty two in kick a goal and I am the number one most credited female Idol"

Wow.. How is she so professional.. I clap along with Minsoo as Moonbyul sits back down. Minsoo seems happy with how we're doing so far.

"Well done ladies, you two did very well. Now I want to talk about boundaries. Everyone has different boundaries so I wanted us to set them. As an example, if I was in your position I would say I do not like my stomach being touched. That is a boundary and so the other person knows not to do that. Let's start with Moonbyul"

I looked to Moonbyul as she nods and thinks for a little while.

"I don't like my neck being touched. Obviously my chest and my uh.. You know what. That's it really"

I nod memorising them, don't touch neck, chest and crotch.. Understandable.. What do I not like..? I don't know.. I haven't really had a relationship before..

"I don't like my chest and.. Underwear area being touched. I don't think there is anything else"

A soft smile rests on my face as Minsoo nods writing these things down.

"Now let's talk about what we do like. In a relationship your partner will know what you like and will play to that in their daily life. Even if it is unconsciously done. Saemi, why don't you start?"

I nod softly, fidling with the edge of my jumper.

"I like.. My thighs being touched.. My shoulders.. My lower back.. And my knees"

I stare at moon as she nods, taking her time to think about what she likes.

"I like my hands being touched, whether it is holding or fiddling. I like my arms being touched, mostly having the other person wrap their arm around mine. I also like my waist being touched and my upper back"

Once Moonbyul is done we both look towards Minsoo, as if asking what we do now.

"Alright, now this section is called soul searching. What I want you to do is sit across from each other, hold hands and just stare in to the others eyes. As if you are long lost soulmates"

I move across, sitting in front of Moonbyul. I gently rest my hands and Moonbyul's, my eyes delving into the mysteries of hers.

Soulmates..
