Well, it was the hottest summer on record for Nashville, Tennessee. Most of the days were around one hundred degrees, and it just kept getting warmer and warmer. It was almost that mystical day in June where this city, hot or cold, rain or shine, wouldn't sleep.

I couldn't wait for that day. My family and I started going to the CMA Music Festival and have been going for twelve years strong. During this magical time in June, we met some friends that we still kept in contact with for many years.

We agreed to meet these friends at the glorious Omni Hotel so we could wander around SoBro (South Broadway) before all of the fans came in. It was the Tuesday before the CMA Music Festival would begin, and I think it started early for me.

My whole family went up to meet those friends in their rooms, and I ended up running into the perfect guy. He was very tall, had blonde hair, and was very lost.

He kept wandering around the lobby of the grand hotel for a few. I couldn't help but laugh at him.

"Good grief, this is Nashville, not Las Vegas," I mumbled to myself.

I got up and decided to get a little snack to make sure I would make it to dinner. I bought a chocolate chip cookie with a bottle of water. As I was walking back to my seat, I accidentally bumped into the lost wanderer.

"I'm so sorry!" I said quietly to him.

"It's okay. What's your name?"

WAIT A MINUTE!!! NO GUY EVER TALKS TO ME! WHAT IS HIS PROBLEM?

"(Y/N). What's your name?"

"Valeri. People call me Val."

"Do you need help finding anything?"

I could tell that this guy, Val, did not like accepting help at all. He thought about my response for a few minutes, and I heard the answer that I was looking for.

He replied, "Yes."

"What do you need help finding?" I ask him.

The places that he wants to go are all in this weird looking language. I believed that the words were in Russian, so I decided to ask why it was in Russian. I thought that this guy lost a bet to a friend.

Val replied, "I don't know what it is called in English. I had to look it up in my native language."

I took a photo of the place that was highlighted on his list of tourist attractions. It was Кантри Зал славы, or eventually translated as being the Country Music Hall of Fame.

While I was looking this up, my mom sent me a message saying where they were going. It was back to the usual hangout, or the actual name of Whiskey Bent Saloon. I didn't even realize they passed by me. I decided to go off on my own and help this guy out.

I led Val down the hallway of the Omni Hotel that leads to the Country Music Hall of Fame. Once we walked into the grand lobby, he smiled the most adorable smile ever.

"I was right next door to it???" Val said.

I replied, "Yes. I'll get the tickets for us."

Thank goodness my mother gave me the family guest passes to the Hall of Fame.

Well, as we walked around the Hall of Fame, there was music unlike the time era that Val and I were currently passing through. I had to laugh a little bit, as Big and Rich's "Lost In This Moment" was playing as we walked around.

Even though this song is about a wedding, I think it sparked the feelings that I had for Val. The chorus lyrics made me lose my gaze from the exhibits, and I lost it in his eyes.

Lost in this moment with you, I am completely consumed.

My feelings so absolute, there's no doubt.

Sealing our love with a kiss, waited my whole life for this, watchin' all my dreams come true, lost in this moment with you.

I never thought I would fall for a guy so hard during what I have officially nicknamed a "soppy" song. After the song, he told me a little about himself. He told me that he was a hockey player for the Dallas Stars, and I couldn't believe it! I was helping out a Dallas Star around one of the best tourist attractions in town!

Well, as soon as we made our way around the museum, those lyrics were wandering around in the back of my mind. I think I developed feelings for the man that was a lost wanderer, but it was only for a few hours. I brought Val back the long way to the hotel. He wanted to see a different view of Nashville, and I think that the walk back was perfect. Even though it is less than a block away, it felt like it lasted an eternity.

As soon as we got back, I said goodbye to Val. I was going to miss him, but there would be other guys out there. I would never find true love with an NHL player, because I'm too normal.

(Time Skip to Thursday!)

Today was the day that CMA Music Fest begins! It's a new journey, and Big and Rich were opening it up at the Riverfront Stage. They opened it up with their act at nine in the morning, and it was AWESOME! I decided to head out early during one of their "soppy" songs and get one of the many free ice cream samples that I would eat.

All I started to hear was the beginning of "Lost In This Moment" and I couldn't help but think of Valeri. Even though it was only a few hours long, I still enjoyed everything with him.

As the chorus was blared, I ran into Valeri.

"(Y/N)? What are you doing here?" Val asked.

"This is my first Riverfront opener!" I shout over the music.

"You like this song?"

"Yeah, it has grown on me in the past couple of days," I reply to him.

He looked like he was nervous. Val wanted to say something, but something stopped him. Once the crowd started singing along to the chorus, though, Val didn't hold his thoughts back.

"I...love you."

I was shocked, but I realized that I had feelings for him as well.

"I love you too."

(Time Skip to Three Years Later)

As Val and I walked out onto the dance floor for our first official dance, I couldn't help but smile at the song he chose.

It was none other than Big and Rich's "Lost In This Moment."

"Val, is this our unofficial theme song for us?" I asked.

"Yes, (Y/N). It will always be the song that brings me back to that Tuesday in Nashville."
