He Knew From The Start

The Meeting

I woke up in a nearly pitch black room with a meeting room like table in the center radiating a soft white, I stood up and waked to the table, looked like 5 or 7 people could comfortably sit with room to spare between each seat, a soft almost inaudible harp was playing in the background but I couldn't find the musician behind such a relaxing tone, searching for the musician I looked up and I saw entire galaxies shining down on me

It gave me a sense of how small I was, how insignificant i am, how little my world really was, how little our squabbling really meant to it, I reached out to try and touch the specs of dust, it all came floating down, "haha Fly me to the moon, and let me sing amongst the stars" I sang at the top of my voice 

"let me see what spring is like, on Jupiter and mars" sang an old man with a beard that reached the floor, hair that dragged behind him for a good 12 ft., wearing something resembling a wizards gown, him being almost 15 ft. tall, "well how do you like the view, quite captivating isn't it? I was thinking of adding a few more supernova to flare it up a bit don't you think?" he said nonchalantly 

I stared at the old man in disbelief "Who might you be Sir if i may ask?" 

"to you and your world I'm Vater Zeit but i go by many names such as Saturn, father time, and Death, however that last one isn't quite as true as the others, yes I judge how much time you get but I don't take your soul" he said with a caring voice and an amused look in his eyes

"IM FUCKING DEAD!!!!! NO, THIS ISNT HAPPENING I REFUSE TO ACCEPT THIS, THIS IS A LIE IT HAS TO BE" I started screaming  and running around like a chicken without its head, arms waving in the air like a mad man "ORPHIS I THOUGHT WE HAD A DEAL TO SEND ME BACK TO FIX OUR PROBLEMS NOT LEAVE IT AS THEY ARE" tears flowing down my cheeks 

"Calm down child" a motherly voice called out to me

I stopped dead in my tracks and slowly turn to this heartwarming, calming, and almost hypnotic feeling "what was... why does it.... this feeling... Mom?" I questioned looking at a mature lady feeling a primal connection to this being "No, who are you?"

"I am Gaia, but you know me as mother nature, and life" she said with an affectionate tone
