Austin and I said our good nights before Hood walked me back to my assigned room, where Noah was still asleep.

"Feeling okay? Not nauseated or anything?" He asked me as I got in bed, covering myself.

"No, I'm okay" I nodded.

"Okay, try to get some sleep" he smiled before dismissing himself.

I laid down, exhaling lightly as I got comfortable.

I woke up to quiet talking and the blood pressure cup on my arm squeezing me.

I whined lightly, wanting nothing but to return to the exact dream I was just in.

"Sorry, love" I heard Hood's voice speak.

I opened my eyes, seeing the sunrise through the blinds.

"Feeling okay?" He asked me, but I immediately felt a familiar pain.

"Fuck" I spoke, sitting up.

"What's wrong?" He was alarmed.

"I think I started my period." I spoke, feeling the cramps kicking my ass.

I had horrible irregular periods, this one was probably my third period this month.

I ran to the bathroom, confirming my fears.

Well at least that explains why I've been crying so much.

I put a tampon in, washing my hands and returning to the room where Calum was holding a few objects.

"Okay" he exhaled as I sat in bed.

"Strong Tylenol for the cramps" he spoke, putting two pills in my hand.

"Thank you" I mumbled, immediately taking them.

"Heating pads for your stomach and back." He spoke as he twisted them a few times before handing them to me, making me thank him yet again before placing them where I felt the most pain.

"Can I get you anything else right now?" He asked me.

"I don't think so" I mumbled.

"Okay, well Luke should be here any moment, so this is my last check in, but I'll be back tonight." He spoke calmly.

"Enjoy your rest" I smiled to him, seeing him smile.

"You enjoy your day" he spoke back to me.

I laid back down once he was gone, squeezing the heating pad to my stomach, not feeling much relief, but knowing the medicine would kick in shortly.

An hour later I wasn't in as much pain, but I definitely couldn't sleep.

I was scrolling through my social medias as Hemmings and Irwin entered, both immediately smiling to me.

"Well good morning sunshine" Hemmings was the first to speak.

"Hi" I mumbled back.

"I heard someone was running the halls with a regular midnight snacker" he told me as he hit a few buttons on my monitor, making my blood pressure cuff immediately tighten.

I smiled to him, hearing Irwin laugh lightly.

"You're not in trouble, we are happy to hear that you have real food in your stomach, but next time- just let a nurse or doctor know before" he spoke calmly, making me nod in agreement.

"How's everything feeling?" He asked me.

"Normal." I shrugged to him.

"Okay" he spoke calmly,

"Well, your chemo is at ten, they're serving breakfast in about thirty minutes, so stay awake for that." He told me, making me instantly want to roll my eyes at the thought of having to eat breakfast, but I refrained.

"Anything else I can get you?" He asked me slowly.

"No thank you" I told him back calmly.

"Well, we will be back shortly." He spoke before leaving with Irwin.

Sooner than I expected, they were bringing in breakfast, which woke Noah, earning himself a plate as well.

"The cafeteria ladies must like you" I laughed out as he chewed a piece of bacon.

"You don't realize how hard I flirt with them, for this" he spoke, making us both laugh.

I tried eating bacon, immediately determining that, I wasn't in the mood for bacon.

I then saw scrambled eggs, which immediately made me just want to cry.

So I settled for the yogurt that was on the plate.

"You gotta start eating more, tana" Noah told me as I stretched out, ignoring his comment.

"It just, food grosses me out" I mumbled, seeing him exhale.

"How about for lunch we do Chick-fil-A?" He asked, knowing that was my favorite.

"Deal."
