MALLORY'S POV
Working on a set I love, with people I love, for a show I love made me feel a type of happiness I didn't know existed. I felt happier than a kid waking up on Christmas and being showered with gifts. I felt happier than a star quarterback who just won the Super Bowl. I felt happier than I had ever felt. Drew, my job, my friends, they all made me so incredibly happy. I was finally at a point where I was content with my life.
For years, I've worried for my future, as anyone would. I knew exactly what I wanted to pursue a career in, but it seemed so far-fetched I didn't know how I would make it possible. My relationship with my ex-boyfriend wasn't going anywhere and I was afraid that would be my life. I never imagined I would be in this happy of a relationship that is growing everyday with someone who loves me unconditionally. Two, three, four years ago, the future terrified me. I was terrified of where I would be at my age. Would I still be living at home? Would I still be working at Dairy Queen? Would I still be in an emotionally draining relationship?
