Chapter 6: CBX concert in Japan

3rd person POV

Today is CBX's concert in Tokyo and you are going with your friends. But while you are getting ready, the doorbell rings. As you answer the intercom, you see a familiar yet unexpected face appear. You hesitate to answer, "Hi..."

"Umm, hi, I am Do Kyungsoo, is this Y/N's house? I am here with Chanyeol." He announces formally while looking at something beside the camera.

As if on cue, another head pops into the monitor, "Surprise!" It's Chanyeol.

You couldn't help but laugh at their performance as you buzz them in.

"Hey, what are you doing here. You didn't tell me you were coming to Tokyo." You asks Chanyeol as you open the door for them.

"It wouldn't be a surprise if I told you right?" He laughs, "Oh, and I brought Kyungsoo with me."

"Hi, I am Do Kyungsoo, nice to meet you." Kyungsoo bows.

"Hi, nice to meet you. My name is Y/N." You bow and attempt to respond in your limited Korean that you have started picking up from Chanyeol over this time.

"Haha, why are you guys so formal." Chanyeol laughs at the two as he invites himself into the house as if it is his own. Over the last few months, he has gotten used to the place as the two of you would chill here whenever he visited.

"So seriously, why are you guys here?" You ask as you join Chanyeol on the couch.

"What are you doing today? Want to go to a concert with us?" Chanyeol responds.

"You mean CBX's concert? I don't need you to take me." You say proudly as you take out your own tickets.

"Oh, you already planned to go? But why? I thought you were just my fan." Chanyeol pouts, acting like a jealous boyfriend.

"I am EXO's fan, not just yours!"

"Well, ditch these tickets, come with us instead. It will be more fun." Chanyeol tries to tempt her. "You will get to sit in the box seat~"

"I would love to, but I am actually going with a few friends. It is probably not appropriate for all of us to join you in the box seat." You respond logically.

"It's fine! It's a big box." Chanyeol just won't give up.

"She's right, don't think it is a good idea for us to be seen with a bunch of girls." Kyungsoo adds.

"Fine..." Chanyeol surrenders while pouting like a kid.

Time skip to the concert 

You and your friends are having a great time at the concert, screaming fan chants and singing along with them. During one of the clothing change breaks, you feel a buzz from your phone. You are surprised when you see the message from Chanyeol, "Where are you sitting?"

You describe your seat to him.

He immediately responds, "Look up across the stadium towards the box seats."

You borrow your friends binoculars and look towards the other side, and see a tall figure waving in your direction. You couldn't help but chuckle at how dumb he looks. Your friend hears you laugh out of no where and asks, "What are you looking at and laughing about?"

You pass the binoculars over to your friend and whisper to her, "Look straight across where the box seats are, I think its Chanyeol and Kyungsoo." You don't tell her how you know they are here though.

"OMG!!! It is them!" your friends freak out.

You secretly replied to Chanyeol, "Haha you look like an idiot. And my friends are freaking out about you waving at them."

"What? They were watching? How did you explain why I was waving at them?" Chanyeol knew you never told your friends you met him since you were afraid of them asking too many questions about how you met, you wanted to forget about the incident.

"Yes they were watching. But don't worry I just said you might be dancing." You replied as you imagine how he would look while panicking.

The next segment of the concert resumed. (A/N: If you didn't watch the CBX in Japan concert in 2019, search on YT for their Paper Cuts performance, makes me want to cry each time I watch it. Also, their ending! Baekhyun was super cute.)
