I won't give up (Completed)

Chapter 5.

*Present time*

Maya and Victoria where now in the pool, having the best time. However, Maya's mind couldn't help but think about him and their meet up. It is yet that she hasn't told Victoria that they met. She doesn't think Tori will take it well. 

Her fingers went through her phone, as she had been doing in the past days, looking at Hoseok's profile picture, wondering why he hasn't texted her. 

She sighs as she turned off her phone and closed her eyes, trying to enjoy the moment. 

"Okay, seriously, what's up with you?" Tori asked her, and all Maya thought was 'crap now I do have to tell her'. "You've been acting weird. You haven't been yourself and I feel like you are hiding something from me. It's not normal for you to be hiding something from me." 

Maya opened her eyes as she looked at Tori and she had concern drawn all over her face. 

"If I tell you, please promise you won't freak out." Maya said, and Tori was now even more nervous. It's not normal for Maya to be acting this way. 

"You know I never judge you over anything, there's no need to hide stuff from me." She said as she got closer to Maya. Maya looked directly at Tori's eyes and in that moment she knew she had to tell her now. 

"Fine... before I came here to visit you, I met up with Jungkook." Maya said and she closed her eyes out of instinct, waiting for a reaction, but nothing came. She opened her eyes again and saw that Tori was in shock, but still wanted to hear more. "Uh, it was not planned. You know Taylor? She's a fan of their band and wanted me to meet up with them. The idea was just to take photos of the place and of them, so I would send it to her, and maybe some videos here and there since she couldn't go, but he ended up spotting me... and he came towards me and said hi." 

Victoria listened carefully, trying not to freak out, but all she could think about was 'was Taehyung there? Did they asked for her?' "Did you see the others?" 

Was all Victoria decided to asks and they were best friends because Maya knew exactly what she wanted to know. "Taehyung was there yes. All of them, but specially him, asked if you were okay. What you were up too." Victoria nodded as she took a deep breathe and now she was in deep thought. 

"How have you been handling this?" She asked Maya and Maya just shook her head. 

"I haven't been able to handle it, that's why I ended up telling you." She paused as she looked at Tori who had tears in her eyes. "You, out of anyone else, is the only one who can relate to what I'm feeling right now." 

"Did any of them gave you like their contact or something?" 

"Hoseok did. He gave me his Instagram but I'm not sure why he hasn't dm'd me yet." Maya explained as she showed the profile to Tori. She took the phone and began to stalk him basically. She saw a picture of him and Taehyung from a few weeks ago, smiling a bit. 

'I don't have to tell her about what Namjoon said to be after the meet up... right? She doesn't have to suffer like I did.' Maya thought as she was trying to keep hearing what Tori was saying to her. 

"They haven't changed, had they?" Tori said as she smiled a bit as she saw another photo, but this one showed all the members. 

"Nop, not one bit." Maya answered her as Tori gave back her phone. "Should I write to him instead?" 

Tori thought for a moment and it's true that this meet up happened a week ago, if they truly wanted to keep contact, they would have contacted Maya already. But at the same time, she couldn't help but think that it was best for Tori to contact them. Maybe Maya wasn't able to, since her heart is still healing, but Tori's heart was fine. She could handle it. 

"If you want, I'll contact them instead. In the photos, does it show Yoongi's Instagram profile?" Tori asked, since she and Yoongi were pretty close. You could say they were best friends back then. 

Maya looked for the group photos and spotted Yoongi's Instagram profile. "I'll send it to you." She said as she sent the profile through dm to Tori. Tori thanked her and opened the dm's to Yoongi's profile. "What should I write to him?" 

Maya thought a bit and shrugged her shoulders. "I'm not good at this, I don't know." 

" 'Hey Yoongi. I know it's been forever, but Maya told me she saw you all last week. How have you been?'" Tori suggested and Maya nodded, feeling like it was good enough. Simple, but effective. 

"Hopefully he'll answer." Maya said as Tori hit send, and all they could do was wait.
