8 years later

High school has moulded one of my best years it being me falling in love for the first time and it felt great it was amazing

I am currently a lawyer at a big time firm I'm planning to open my own firm in just a few years I'm 25 years now me and my friends are still together but it's been tough since I moved to Cape town after I graduated at UCT I live in a gated estate in Cape town the quiet suburbs

My phone rang under my pillow disturbing me from my sleep

Me:"hello"

?!:"wakey wakey sleepy head "

Me:"come on ezerh it's still like 4 in the morning"

Eazy:"girl you had a lot to drink last night it's 1 in the afternoon manje wake up and get your butt here "

My friends had hired a private jet to come and have a weekend with me yesterday we went to the club and got drunk I left early it was still like 00:10 Michelle had insisted we go clubbing and it is fun it was our first time yesterday

Me:"uggggghh my precious sleep "

Eazy just hung up the phone because she knew I would blab for days about not having anything to wear when I have tons of clothing I have learnt to be independent over these years I'm successful and rich so I'm bound to have lots of clothes that's what she always says I woke up and prayed then played my morning jams

'levitating ' by dua lipa played in the house speakers I quickly took a shower got dressed in peach biker shorts a butterfly peach baggy t shirt luckily I had layed my weave last week I wore my NYU cap which is peach and white AF1s and lastly top it off with shades I looked at myself in the mirror and damn was I looking fine I took some snaps and went out locked the door then headed to the garage I decided to go with my Mercedes AMG 65 while blasting some music I arrived at the V &A waterfront where we were supposed to meet I spotted them at a nearby corner

Me:"ladies "

Michelle:"yohhh ai ngeke girl you are a traitor how come you looking so hot thina sinje worse with hangovers "

Naledi :"mina I'm never going clubbing "

Sbongile :"haaaa girl don't disappoint us we should do this every weekend "

Me:"wooh never I got cases to solve "

Michelle:"you mean judges to lie to "

We all just laughed out of us all Michelle's was really the crazy one

Eazy:"I got a banging headache mina I drank too much "

Mbali approached our table looking like a mess

We ordered our drinks while waiting for khanyi

After 16 minutes of waiting khanyi arrived wearing shades
