Soft Draco Oneshots

Midnight cuddles -Draco

You were laying in your bed staring up at the ceiling. You were already about to fall asleep when you heard a soft knock on your door

"Come in" the door opened and in walked your roommate. He looked slightly scared as he walked up to your bed "what? Why are you here? It's super late?" "Hi um... I kinda..." he stood at the foot of your bed "I had a nightmare... is there any way I could sleep with you? I know it's weird but I'm really scared and I won't be able to fall back asleep if I'm alone. If you don't want to that's fine too, don't feel pressured just because-" "you can sleep next to me it's fine" you interrupted him

He climbed in next to you on your bed "thank you" he kept his space as he didn't want to make you uncomfortable and faced away from you

He quietly gasped as you put your arms around his waist pulling him closer but you didn't notice. Your chest was pressed up to his back and your hand was rubbing up and down his side soothingly. Draco was actually freaking out. He couldn't remember the last time someone had touched him like that and cared for him. He felt his cheeks getting hotter and his heart speeding up

"There's nothing to be afraid of. You're safe here" you cooed softly in his ear. You noticed his hands were shaking a bit so you took them in both of your hands and rubbed your thumbs back and forth on them. He took a deep breath and calmed down "there we go. Good boy" you said against his neck

He shivered at the feeling of your breath brushing against the back of his neck. You slipped your hand under his shirt and caressed his torso knowing he liked skin to skin contact. "You're getting goosebumps love" his breath hitched at the nickname 'love?' He thought 'they've never called me love before'

He scooted back trying to get his body as close to yours as possible "it's...cold that's why I got goosebumps" "right and that's the same reason why you're getting closer am I right?" "Yeah..."

You brought your hand that wasn't caressing him up to his hair and started playing with it. He closed his eyes and remembered the times his mother would comfort him like this. The only times she would ever do so was when his father would lash out at Draco. Either yell at him or hit him. He never really felt safe at the manor but being comforted by his mother were one of his best yet worse and only memories from his childhood

He opened his eyes again and saw his face was pressed up against your chest. You had both arms wrapped securely around him while repeating the words "you're safe here" and "everything's gonna be ok" he looked up at you "wh- what happened?" You looked down at him sweetly "you closed your eyes for a bit then began sweating really bad. I was gonna let you sleep but you began shaking your head and whimpering. I figured it was another nightmare so I cuddled you closer and you stopped almost instantly"

"Oh... I'm sorry" "it's ok love. What's on your mind?" "Um" he looked down leaning in the crook of your neck "I wasn't really asleep I just- the way you touched me reminded me of when my mother comforted me... it was bittersweet but I guess the less fun parts took over and... yeah" "I'm sorry" "no I liked it... just silly thoughts you know" "they're not silly. I get why you could feel like that"

"Is it the way that I'm cuddling you that's making you uncomfortable?" "Not uncomfortable just... I'm awkward because I've never really cuddled anyone- well other than my mom" "I'm glad I could be your first" you dug your nose in his hair inhaling the scent of his shampoo

"Thank you for helping me calm down" "you're so welcome. You smell nice" his face turned red but luckily for him it was too dark for you to notice. "Stop it" "what? Am I flustering you?" He dug his face deeper in your chest "no..." you smiled to yourself "sleep well love" you softly kissed the top of his head "you too"

A few things:

I'm sorry this is low key short but I thought it was cute

As you all probably noticed, I suck at beginning stories, my apologies

And lastly, who tf is Theo? Is it Theodore Nott or Mattheo Riddle? I NEED ANSWERS
