Boy by the Pool -Draco

As you put on your bathing suit you stopped to admire your body
It was perfect
You looked GORGEOUS in that bathing suit (or bikini or swim trunks or yk whatever u wear so I just put bathing suit cause that's pretty general.... Right?) and it made you feel confident
You ran your hands down your body super happy with how you looked
A deity is what you looked like
You got out of your dorm and went to meet your friends in the lobby
Hermione and Luna were waiting for you along with Neville
Y/n: where are Harry and Ron?
H: they said they would join later
Y/n: and Ginny?
H: with harry
H: they'll come around
Y/n: ok then
Y/n: let's go
As you guys walked to the pool you saw many familiar faces
Cedric Diggory had invited a bunch of people to hang out at the pool and have a but of fun
There was around 100 people there and it was pretty fun
Neville went straight to the pool while you and the girls tanned a little
H: don't forget the sun screen
L: Hermione it's ok
L: it's only a little while
Y/n: yeah
Y/n: come on get your tan on
H: all right
H: I suppose a little wouldn't hurt
After a while you got bored so you went in the pool
You flirted around with some of the guys until you got slightly hungry so you went to get snacks at the snack bar
Draco's hair caught your eye so you glanced at him and saw he covered his stomach
You looked where he was looking and saw he was looking at Cedric
Cedric was quite good looking and had very toned abs but you felt sympathy for the blonde
You decided to go up and talk to Draco and tell him he looks good
Draco was rather skinny but he looked good
Y/n: hey Draco
D: oh um hey
Y/n: I saw you looking at Cedric earlier and I just wanted to say that you look really good
You grabbed his wrists and guided them away from his stomach
Y/n: you don't need to cover
Y/n: trust me
D: thank you
He looked like he was holding back tears so you pulled him into a hug
D: that's the nicest thing anyone's said to me
Y/n: you may not be as toned as Ced but that doesn't mean you look bad
Y/n: you look just fine in my opinion
D: you're so kind
D: I really needed that
Y/n: I'm glad I helped

As you started walking away he took your wrist
D: hey which room are you staying in?
Y/n: room 165 on the 3rd floor
D: ok thanks
Y/n: no problem
You walked back to your friends and saw Hermione look at you weird

H: why are you talking to him?
Y/n: well cause he was insecure and I know what that feels like so I wanted to help him feel better
H: but why?

H: he bullied me in first, second, and third year
Y/n: and what year is this?
H: sixth

You both turned to see him and he helping a first year learn to swim
Y/n: besides I only told him he has nothing to be insecure about
H: but he bullied me

Y/n: listen you guys were like 11 ,12, and 13 when he bullied you
Y/n: YOURE 16
Y/n: if he still said something to you maybe I wouldn't have told him anything
Y/n: now stop it

H: I suppose you're right

Y/n: I know what he did and said before was not right

R: COMING THROUGHHHHH
Ron tackled both you and Hermione into the pool
H: RONALD
He was laughing his head off
H: It's not funny
Y/n: it kinda is
H: oh yeah?
She threw water at you and you both had a water fight laughing really hard
After the party when you were back in your dorm, you took a shower and changed into some comfortable clothes
At around 9:30 you heard a knock on your door
When you opened the door you saw Draco standing there in jeans, a tight shirt, and dripping hair
D: hey Y/n
Y/n: hi Draco
D: I was wondering if you wanted to come to the lake with me
Y/n: sure
Y/n: when?
D: well I was thinking right now?
Y/n: ok
Y/n: let me put on my shoes
D: mk
You put on your shoes and you and Draco snuck down to the lake
He sat in the dock and you sat next to him
D: I just wanted to thank you for earlier
D: it was very nice of you
D: and idk I couldn't stop thinking about it
Y/n: well I've been in your shoes
Y/n: and this girl came up to me and told me basically the same I told you
Y/n: and after that my confidence went up
D: well as it should
D: you have a gorgeous body
D: wait no that sounded weird
D: your face is also nice but

Y/n: when I was little I was swimming in a lake and I felt something drag me under
Y/n: all I remember is water getting in my nose and waking up to my dog licking me awake in the shore
Y/n: nobody noticed what happened until later
Y/n: so um yeah
Y/n: it's kinda dumb
D: no it's not dumb...
D: it's pathetic
D: like WHAT
D: what is gonna get you the Loch Ness monster?
Y/n: YES
Y/n: AND WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?
D: I'm kidding I'm kidding
D: at least you have a reason to be scared
D: I didn't
D: but I got an idea
D: I'm gonna help you get over your fear

You thought about it for a second then sighed
Y/n: fine
Y/n: but please be careful

He walked you down to the shore of the lake
D: give me your hand
Y/n: ok...
You took his hand and he guided you down to where the water was up to your knees
D: you're doing good
D: let's go a little deeper
He again took your hand and lead you to where the water was up to your waist
D: look at you
D: there's nothing to be scared of see?
D: if something the lake should be scared of you
A smile grew on your face as you realized you finally did it
D: ok let's take a little break ok?
You nodded
D: I'll lead and you follow me
Draco was a couple yards in front of you with his back facing you
About two steps in you slipped on something and got freaked out
Y/n: DRACO
You started frantically waving your arms around until your body pressed up against someone
D: shhh it's ok
Draco had picked you up and wrapped his arms around you protectively
D: it was just a plant
D: you're fine
Y/n: Draco why did you leave me?
Y/n: I was so scared!
D: yes I'm aware
D: but there's nothing to be scared of
He put you down
D: see?
D: you're ok
Y/n: can we get out?
D: yes we can
D: but please let's finish
D: I wanna help you
D: come on
He took your hand and went to the deepest part of the lake
Even then the water barely went up to your neck
D: there
D: that's not too bad is it?
Y/n: I guess not
D: and look
Draco went underwater and when he came back up he put you in his shoulders
Y/n: put me down Draco!
You both couldn't stop laughing
D: come on it's fine
He started getting out of the lake with you still on his shoulders
As soon as the water was knee deep he put you down
Y/n: that's was actually kinda fun
D: see?
D: nothing's gonna happen
D: are you still scared?
Y/n: not really
Y/n: thank you
After that you both sat down on the dock and kept on talking and laughing
It was until around 3 am that you snuck back to your dorms
