An Octarian Princess

Power Outting pt. 1

So, Cody, Marina, Pearl, and Aiden had wound up in Beaker's Depot. Per Octavio's suggestion, and somewhat bribery given the news weapons, they were out there. Octavio would've joined them if he could, but it was decided that he should stay put so no one could kidnap him too. He hated the decision, but stayed, at least he wasn't in a snowglobe anymore. The claustrophobia wasn't fun.

"So, Stage 13 and the boss kettle, right?" Pearl asked "yeah, I think so." Aiden replied "Pearlie and I can go check out stage 13." Marina said "cool, Aiden and I will check out the boss kettle, then we'll come join you." Cody said "sounds good!" Pearl then ran off towards the kettle, Marina behind her saying show she needed to slow down.

The two boys stood in front of the kettle "so, Octostomp, huh?" Aiden asked "yeah, Marie said she'd seen it before." Aiden nodded "Agatha and Dr. Gros worked really hard to fix it up and improve it after Agent 3 destroyed it. But the other bosses were just other ones." He said "yeah, didn't seem like she recognized any of the others." Cody replied "in we go, I guess."

The two descended into the kettle and quickly made they're way to the main platform, where they saw a huge hunk of scrap metal, and a certain head scientist rubbing through it. "Uh, Dr. Gros..?" Aiden said, she quickly stood up and spun around and adjusted her glasses, "hello, boys, what brings you both here?" Dr. Gros asked "we were just looking for clues regarding Naida's disappearance, ma'am." Dr. Gros shrugged "simply recovering what's left of an octoboss, after that one destroyed it." She glared at Cody, who glared back. It didn't take a genius to see the bad blood between them, and frankly, Cody was sick of being treated poorly over menial stuff "what do you have against me?" He asked "what do /I/ have against you?" Dr. Gros asked, aghast "it just seems like ever since I've met you, you've been trying to pin me for something." Cody said, Aiden stood silent, not completely sure where this was going, but it was still uneasy. "I apologize for not giving you my immediate trust like everyone did. You could say I have some reasons not to trust you, as in, being Agent 4, and being the destruction of many great machines. Oh, the power crisis restarting, and how can I forget the imprisonment of DJ Octavio, yet again?" She said "I did all that because you guys had no right to take the Zapfish again, and Octavio wanted me dead!" Cody shouted "oh? Getting riled up now, are we?" Dr. Gros taunted "I could almost say your-" "that's enough, Dr. Gros." Aiden interjected "meaningless taunting will only make our situation worse." Cody smiled at him in thanks "don't think your so much better off, Captain. Your only in your position because of your mother. Without her, you would be nothing." Aiden looked down at his feet, it had always been an insecurity for him, and Dr. Gros might've been right "hey! You don't get to talk to him that way! Aiden's awesome!" Cody yelled, Aiden chuckled nervously, this was getting heated "for the love of Cod, you two, just leave! I have very important things to do!" Dr. Gros screamed "we can't do that, Doctor. We have orders to investigate the area to find Queen Naida." Aiden said "we you little-" Dr. Gros started

She was then cut off by the inkcoming blast radius of a splashdown "Splashdown!" Aiden screamed, before grabbing Cody and trying to jump away. All they could see was blue ink, Aiden and Cody were mildly disoriented, but when Cody looked back up, there she was;
