They are 21. Jilly is married.

"Gilly?"

I hear my name being called. I stop cooking and walk into the living room.

"Is something wrong Love?" I ask my husband as I sit next to him.

"I- I lost all my money."

I freeze.

"How did that happen?" I ask after a second.

"Apparently we owe a lot of money in taxes." He explains.

"Oh. Well, I'll have to work extra hours and we can move into a less expensive house. It's okay. We'll be fine." I say. I expected it to be worse.

Jax stares at me for a second.

"I expected you to take that a lot harder. I know a lot of people that would leave their spouses if they lost all their money." He says.

I place a hand over my heart, offended.

"You expected me to leave you?! Tough luck pal, you're stuck with me." I joke.

Jax smiles.

"So you're not leaving?" He asks.

"Of course not! I didn't marry your money." I exclaim.

Jax hugs me and kisses my forehead.

"I love you." He murmurs.

"I love you too." I whisper.

~Bonus~

"I didn't actually lose all my money."

"WHAT?!?! YOU LIED TO ME?!?!"
