"Greg, Honey, how long will you be gone?" A young woman, not much older than twenty asked.
"Annabeth, I don't know. You know I don't know! Or at least you should. You're in this fight just as much as I am."
Annabeth bowed her head and averted her eyes from her husband, "I just don't like to see you go."
"Understood. But keep in mind, I'm doing all of this for you now," Greg said.
"For us," She corrected him.
"For us," Greg repeated as he smiled at Annabeth and drew her into an embrace.
"For us." Annabeth pulled away and cradled her stomach.
"Annabeth," Greg said breathlessly before pulling himself away from his wife to get ready for the trip ahead.
