I want to kiss you
Even though we're in a crowd
I wanna reach out and touch you
And let word get aroundEveryone will know
They'll say things that aren't true
Everyone will ask questions
About why I'm kissing youWhen we're together
They'll all stare our way
"He's too old for her"
Is what they'll probably sayThey'll voice their opinions
But what do they know
Is it their decision
Who's too young and who's too oldSo I shouldn't kiss you
Because they will see
But why does it matter
If they see you kissing meThey can say anything
As far as I'm concerned
Let them talk about us
Let them talk of what they've learnedAll that really matters
Is only me and you
And how we feel about each other
Not how they think we doThey can't change anything
Let them learn of this
Consider it my confession
And I'll seal it with a kiss-K.S.
