Everything's set. The balloons, the cake, the tables and chairs, the foods. Hinihintay na lang ang mga bisita.

"Wife."

My eyes saw the best view ever. He was carrying that little boy who's celebrating its 1st birthday. I couldn't help but to smile, kamukhang-kamukha nya ang daddy nya, gwapo rin.

"Don't stress yourself too much, wife. Sabi ko sayo, I can take care of this but you're insisting to manage things," pangaral ng aking mister. I pinched his cheeks lightly and kissed his nose. "Opo. Pero syempre, first birthday ito ni baby Adam, dapat si mommy ang mag-aayos. Diba baby Adam?"

Baby Adam Noah smiled. Ang cute-cute talaga nitong baby boy ko! Bata pa bibo na. Feeling ko naiintindihan na ako ng baby ko. Kinarga ko ito mula kay Adam.

"Tuwang-tuwa ka na naman sa anak natin. Palibhasa kasi kamukhang-kamukha ko," sabay kindat ng loko. Inirapan ko lang sya at sya naman, ayun, natawa. Abnormal talaga. Pero mahal na mahal ko yung abnormal na yun.

"It's just 1 pm. 3 pm pa ang start ng party. Why don't we get inside?" Spencer said. Pumasok kami sa loob ng bahay. Naupo kami sa sofa sa sala.

"Isang linggo na lang anniversary na natin," Spencer held my hand. I smiled while looking at our hands, now holding. Kahit na may isang taon na kami ay hindi pa rin nawawala yung kakaibang spark. Ganoon pala talaga kapag mahal na mahal mo yung isang tao, kahit araw-araw mo syang makasama, hindi ka magsasawa. Instead, hahanap-hanapin mo sya sa mga pagkakataong wala sya.

"I know. I love you Spencer..." I whispered into his ears. He gave me a peck on the lips. I was about to reach for his lips to give him a kiss when baby Adam cried.

"Oh..." We both said. Natawa na lang kami. The perks of being a parent.

"Happy birthday, happy birthday, happy birthday Adaaaam!" Bati ng mga kaibigan namin at mga anak nila. Lumapit si Shauna, Angela's daughter and gave baby Adam a kiss. Natawa naman kami ni Spencer. Nginitian ko si Angela and I mouthed Thank you to her. Malaki ang pasasalamat ko sa kanya. Kung hindi nya ako pinuntahan before my wedding to Damien, maybe I'm not in this position. Siguro hindi ako ang mommy ni baby Adam at hindi ako ang asawa ni Spencer. Maybe I'm not this happy, and contented with my life. I owe everything to her.

Nalaman ko na pinsan pala sya ni Spencer. Spencer's mom and father are already dead. Sadly, hindi ko sila nakilala. Pero thankful ako ng sobra sa kanila, without them, I wouldn't be the happiest woman alive, dahil syempre sa kanilang nag-iisang anak na si Spencer, my forever.

"Thank you po sa lahat ng nagpunta sa first birthday ng aming baby Adam Noah, we're happy to see all of you witness our baby boy's celebration." Pasasalamat ko sa mga bisita. Spencer raised his glass of juice. Yes, no alcohol in my baby Adam's birthday party!

"Raise your glass for our wonderful baby boy! I love you son! I'm so proud of you! You totally look like daddy!" Natawa naman ang ibang guest, lalo na nang sumigaw si Alyanna. Yes, she's in the country. Pero for vacation nga lang.

"Yes! Mana sa daddy! Napakagwapo! Baby Adam you're going to marry Tita Aly's daughter okay?!"

Baliw talaga. We all laughed. We all feel so damn happy right now. And I can't ask for anything more. I'm here standing with the love of my life, my child, and my dearest friends. I'm one of the most blessed person ever.
