Meng Han panicked, and leaned towards Chen Shu, putting his palm on Chen Shu forehead.

The burning hot temperature could be felt by Meng Han's palms. All this time, Chen Shu had a fever, a very severe fever. Meng Han hurriedly supported Chen Shu and sent him for an intravenous drip.

When Chen Shu woke up, his head felt dizzy. He hadn't slept well for a long time. However, after falling unconscious, he finally rested for several hours.

Chen Shu looked around and the furnishing seemed quite unfamiliar. 'It wasn't Ye Sui's ward' he thought. The first sentence he spoke after waking up was, "Where is Ye Sui?"

"I let the nurse take care of her, don't worry." Meng Han stopped Chen Shu's movements as he advised, "Your fever has just subsided, take a good rest first."

Chen Shu's firmly replied, "I want to see her."

Meng Han sighed, but didn't continue to persuade him, "You can go. But remember, you can only take good care of Ye Sui when you are healthy."

Chen Shu returned to Ye Sui's ward. She was still quietly lying on the bed, showing no signs of waking up.

Seeing Chen Shu arrival, the nurse silently left the ward. The daily routine check-ups had long ended, and until now, even the best doctors couldn't find out the reason of Ye Sui's coma.

Chen Shu already knew about this for a long time, but he insisted that he will surely find the reason and treat her.

He was sitting next to Ye Sui's bed, until it was time for his medicine. He was worried that his illness might affect Ye Sui, so he didn't continue to stay with her.

Chen Shu lived in the next room. The two rooms were inter-connected. This VIP ward had two rooms and one living room with complete equipments.

Every once in a while, Chen Shu would come out of his room to check on Ye Sui's condition. He would occasionally say a few words, as if he was talking to Ye Sui.

However, she answered him only in silence.

Chen Shu finally accepted the fact that Ye Sui fell into a coma again.

Since Ye Sui was so sleepy, it would be best to let him stay beside her until she woke up.

During this time, Chen Shu needed to maintain his physical condition to ensure that he could take good care of Ye Sui. After waking up, she would also see him in good condition.

The days passed by, and a week had passed in a blink of an eye.

The darkness subsides , as the sun gradually rises, while the sky shines again.

A warm ray of light fell on Chen Shu's body, and he slowly opened his eyes. The clock beside the hospital bed showed it was six o' clock in the morning.
