Oh, my god! What did I just say? I should have shut my mouth. What would Chen Shu think after listening to my nonsense?

Chen Shu's lips were extremely thin, maybe because he didn't laugh often, and his fce always looked aloof. But upon hearing Ye Sui's words just now, Chen Shu hooked his lips and smiled a little.

Even though Ye Sui spoke those embarrassing words, Chen Shu didn't respond to point her out. It was almost as if it didn't matter, and he let her act how she wished regardless of the rules.

Seeing that Chen Shu did not delve into the matter, Ye Sui calmed herself. Behind them, the ghost was also flustered, and frustratedly yelled out.

"You are not allowed to speak to him! Don't think he likes you because he came to pick you up. Don't flatter yourself."

Because of Chen Shu's yang spirit, the lovestruck ghost dare not get close to him; thus, she could only lean forward in between them and create some distance.

Ye Sui moved closer to the window, not wanting to be too near to the ghost.

Fortunately, the idiot ghost thought she couldn't talk to Ye Sui. After her taunting, she shrank back and sat in the back seat again.

Afterward, the ghost began to take out the makeup tools she used when alive from her small bag. It seemed that she loved to appear beautiful all the time. (T/N: Vain).

She picked up her lipstick and started her makeup session in front of the mirror.

Despite Ye Sui's fear, she unexpectedly took a peek in the rearview mirror. She wanted to see this ghost's appearance with makeup.

The ghost carefully outlined her lip line bit by bit and was just about to finish it. All of a sudden, the car made a sharp turn.

Her lipstick immediately slipped, and a long red line was drawn onto her face.

The gorgeous ghost seemed to be dumbstruck. She carefully checked her reflection in the mirror and wiped her face with a cotton pad while giving herself psychological hints.

"Not angry, not angry; the driver is my future husband."

When Ye Sui heard this sentence, she felt inexplicably upset. Chen Shu was her husband, not others'.

Ye Sui curled her lips while being in a bad mood. Looking at the lovestruck fool ghost, she had fixed her lipstick mishap and was now drawing her eyeliner.

When the eyeliner was about to be completed, the car came to a sudden stop.

"Oh, my eyes! I am still beautiful and need to endure." The eyeliner pen poked into the eyes of the ghost; the eyeliner was also unsuccessful.

Ye Sui, who was initially in a lousy mood, cheered up in an instant. She watched the drifting scenery from the window, raised her lips, and looked gratified.

If it weren't for Ye Sui knowing that Chen Shu couldn't see these ghosts, she would have thought that he was deliberately doing this. Who allowed the ghost to lay a false claim on her husband just now?

After a series of twists and turns on the road, Ye Sui finally arrived home. The ghost did not seem to keep up with them, or perhaps she dared not.

Ye Sui was relieved, together with Chen Shu entered the elevator. The elevator went up one floor after another, but just a few floors away, the elevator shook a few times and then stopped.

The elevator door slowly opened, and when Ye Sui pressed the elevator's button again, all the keys failed. She insisted on it over and over again. Ye Sui must take the elevator home because she knew that the elevator could not break down for no reason. She was a hundred percent sure that the trouble was caused by the ghost now.
