𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟲

Welcomed by the loud whizz of the doors opening, Haruka rushes inside to check out the factory.

A few other unexpected people are here, too - Saki, Ichika and Akito.

"Oh so Akito did end up going, but just not with me?" Mizuki laughs to themself. They asked Akito?

"I'm so glad your back, Saki. I really don't know what I'd do without you." Ichika turns to look at Saki, who quickly turns her head as a wide smile forms on her face.

"Oh, hey Ichika!" I approach her. Everyone is standing behind a desk waiting for something.

Ichika swiftly turns her head and her eyes meet mine. We hadn't spoke in a while, and we weren't exactly close.

"Oh, hi Y/N," she gently smiles at me. She looks happier than usual, but still a sad atmosphere surrounds her.

"How are you both?" I close my eyes as I smile back, intertwining my fingers.

"I'm good!" Saki beams at me. "So glad I'm able to go out and about again."

"Does anyone need help with their chocolate?" a tall figure enters the room - around 5,9. Everyone looks at him, somewhat shocked by his loud voice. The whole place goes silent for a second.

"No? Okay. Well everyone, make sure you're wearing an apron and hair is tied up."

I rush back over to Mizuki, who's desk is next to Haruka and Minori.

"Saw some people from your school?" Mizuki asks, leaning over the desk.

"I'm gonna make mine penguin shaped, and some for our group," I overhear Haruka and Minori discussing their chocolate ideas.

"What are we gonna do for our chocolates?" I nudge a busy Mizuki with my elbow.

"Oh- right now I'm thinking a bow, with all these fruits and toppings and... it's gonna be soooo cute!" they whisk the chocolate around, grinning as they think.

I think to myself for a minute. Personally.. I honestly don't know what I'd like myself. Maybe I could just make something for someone else?

I decided I'd make a five small star shaped chocolates.

"Ooh, it looks so cute already!
.. Y/n, do you need any help?" Mizuki looks over my shoulder to see my terrible attempt at a star.

I awkwardly laugh and proceed to nod. They hold their stomach as if they're holding back laughter whilst fixing my chocolate.

"Thanks Mizuki.." I cover my mouth after laughing about how stupid my star was.

To pass time I wander over to Haruka and Minori.
"I like the clover idea! The penguin looks super cute too," I compliment Minori and Haruka's chocolate. Haruka made a cute penguin and Minori made a clover, both probably to share with their group.

"Thanks Y/N! Can I see yours?" Haruka finishes last touches on her chocolate before smiling calmly to me.

It seemed like we were the only non-kids there. The yells of excited children echoed across the noisy room. Akito was all alone, making some chocolate. However, I didn't really speak to him as he looked really annoyed and I didn't want to bother him more.

"Look, Y/N! My chocolate came out perfect!" Mizuki proudly smirked to me, pulling their chocolate out, and then taking mine out.

"Yours turned out great, too!" they pass me my star-shaped chocolates.

"Yayy!" I celebrate as I look at them.

"Whoa, your chocolate is so cute Y/N!" Haruka watches as I place the chocolate onto my desk, puffing my chest up in pride. I know I didn't really make it but..
