"What are you talking about?!" Eren yelled.

"Listen! Don't forget the key!" Grisha said. "You must reach it! Until you learn the truth someday!"

After that everything went black.

Then Eren found himself in a mysterious barren land with a glowing tree in the middle.

There, he saw a man with long brown hair too who was standing infront of the glowing tree.

He had his back turned towards Eren so, he couldn't see his face.

"Welcome... Eren Yeager..." The mysterious man said.

.

Bells rang in the distance and Eren's eyes snapped open, he let out a gasp.

When he sat up, he saw a worried Mikasa.

"Eren, are you okay?" Mikasa said with concern. "You were crying in your sleep."

Eren sat up and held his head. "I felt like I just saw Dad."

"No, you must be dreaming Eren." Mikasa said and stood up straight.

"I see..." Eren said and stared at the bronze key before tucking it underneath his shirt. He looked up at Mikasa. "Did you find your parents, Mikasa?" He stood up.

"Yes. They are outside with Armin and Faye now." Mikasa replied.

Eren looked down. "Hmm"

"Eren... Are you ok now?" Mikasa asked with concern, looking at him.

"I guess I am... Ok..." Eren replied.

"Let's go outside then. They're handing out rations." Mikasa said.

Eren just nodded and left with Mikasa.

"Apparently this was their food storehouse. They've gathered all the ship refugees here." Mikasa said as they were on their way to outside.

The place was overflowing with people.

"We will still struggle for survival," Mikasa said, watching the two men grabbing each other's collars.

"Eren! Mikasa!" Armin said, running up to them, loaves of bread in his arms.

Faye was behind him.

"Armin..." Eren said.

"Here! Just in time!" Armin said and gave them each one loaf. "My grandpa got us some by saying it was for children!"

"Thank you." Mikasa said.

"Thanks Armin." Eren said.

A Garrison soldier came up behind Armin, making a face before moving on.

"What's his problem?" Eren said, staring after him.

"You can't blame him. There's probably not enough food to go around." Armin said. "And this is an entire day's worth. There are just too many refugees."

Eren stared at the loaf of bread in his hand and sighed.

"There was already a food shortage going on, plus the people here aren't treated as well as citizens on the outer wall." Faye said.
.

Two more had joined and now four men were struggling and arguing with one another.

"This is mine!"

"Shut up!"

The two Garrison soldiers looked on at the scene with scorn.

"Why should we hafta give our food to some lousy outsiders?" The soldier said, not keeping his voice down and it was clear the trio had heard him. "If the Titans got through the Wall, they could've at least eaten some more people, if you ask me."
