1. I Hate You!

Mikasa looked up and gasped, letting out a soft cry. Then tears began fill her eyes. Her expression filled with utter despair.

Armin leapt to his feet and snarled, charging at him from across the table.

"Eren! How could you say that to--?" he threw a punch but it was blocked.

Within a second Mikasa slammed Armin to the ground, pinning him down against the table.

Armin lightly groaned and looked up with wide eyes. "Mikasa?"

Her eyes widened and she gasped, looking on in shock at what she had just done.

"Your entire life has been dictated by your Ackermann blood." Eren continued.

She recoiled from Armin, tears still filled her eyes "N-No!"

"It's all you really are." Eren declared as tears started to fall down the sides of her face.

Armin snarled again and lunged at Eren, punching him across the left side of his face. Eren didn't react as he and Armin tumbled onto the floor, the table flipping.

Armin threw a second punch but Eren casually sidestepped it, still showing no signs of emotion.

Eren delivered a quick uppercut punch to Armin's chin, bloodying Armin's face as a small spray of blood spewed from his mouth.

Eren then grabbed Armin and threw him hard against a nearby cabinet filled with wine and glasses. The glass shattered against Armin's body and several of the plates fell onto him.

Two Yeagerists burst into the room, guns drawn. "Sir!" one called out in concern.

"I'm all right." Eren said, showing no feeling at having just struck his friend twice.

Armin grunted as he slowly picked himself off from the floor.

"Hey, Armin. You and I have never fought before, have we?"

Armin glared at Eren and lunged forward again, throwing another punch that Eren just dodged.

"Do you know why?"

Eren threw another punch, landing across Armin's face and sending him recoiling.

Armin braced himself in a ready stance but Eren hit him across the right side of his face then across the left side.

He then delivered a heavy upward blow, causing Armin to let out a loud grunt of pain, his bruised and bloody face was clearly visible.

Again, and again and again Eren punched him. Armin bleeding heavily from his mouth and nose.

Eren's own face was filled with rage as he continued to beat on Armin.

"Because it's..."

Eren punched him again.

"Stop it..." Mikasa said in a whimpering tone as she continued to cry.

"...not even close to a fair fight!" Eren said after punching Armin again.

Eren then grabbed Armin and delivered a powerful knee to his gut.

Armin let out a strangled cry and then crumpled onto the ground, his face a bruised and beaten mess as blood poured from his mouth and nose.

Eren breathed heavily, looking down at him.

"Please, stop." Mikasa said, still in her defeated sounding tone as tears kept flowing down her face.

"Like I said, if you guys tell us where Zeke is, there's no need for us to fight." Eren said, returning to his emotionless tone.

Mikasa slowly made her way to Armin, getting on her knees next to him as she tended to him.

"Come along and behave." He looked to the soldiers. "Take them."

"Yes, sir." The soldier shouted.

"The brat who killed Sasha, too." Eren continued.

Gabi looked surprised and then uncomfortably glared at him.

Mikasa began to pick Armin up. Then Armin spoke up.

"Is that it? Is that all you came to say?"

Eren looked back at him on the ground.

"That you wanted freedom just so you could hurt Mikasa?" Armin stared up at him with only one eye open. "Tell me: Who's the slave that bows to a bastard again?" Armin said while glaring at him.

Eren narrowed his eyes, casting an annoyed glance at him. "Who are you calling a slave? Let's go."

Before he could go, Mikasa yelled.

"Eren!" Mikasa yelled in an angered tone.

Eren slowly turned around and looked at her. Then she started speaking.

"Are you happy now ? Are you happy now that you just hurted your bestfriend?" She said, standing up.

"Are you happy now that you just broke my heart? Is that what you wanted?" She yelled in an angered tone.

Eren kept his emotionless face. Mikasa then came a bit closer towards Eren and shouted.

"I HATE YOU EREN! I. HATE. YOU!" Mikasa shouted while tears kept flowing down her face. Eren's facial expression remained the same.

"Tsk. Take them!" Eren commanded his soilders with the same emotionless face and left.

He went ahead of them so noone noticed the tears that were flowing down his face. He quickly wiped them before anyone could see.

He muttered something, barely audible.

"I am... Sorry."
