The next day, everything felt new. And happier. The weight that heavily held Meridus and Elinor down was long gone. The Queen finally eased up on her sons tutoring and on his betrothal. He can marry who he chooses.

The three, along with the triplets, all sat in the tapestry room. Meridus and Blair were helping the Queen stitch another tapestry. This one consisted of bear Elinor holding handed with the prince and the young girl. It was a memory they all needed to remember and to share with future generations.

"Oh Elinor! Meridus, Blair!" Fergus called from the bottom of the stairs as the triplets ran down to greet their father. "They're leaving!"

Elinor chuckled as she quickly stood. "The lords are heading home. Let's say our goodbyes." She said as they put away the thread and needles before heading downstairs.

Meridus and Blair walked together, hand in hand. The royal family all headed to the ship docks where the other three clans were packing to leave.

Blair watched as the family bid their farewells. The three daughters of the lords walked over to her and shockingly hugged her. "Thank you for changing their minds." Daughter of Macintosh said.

"If it weren't for Meridus falling for you, I'm sure he'd be force to marry one of us." Dingwall daughter teased the young girl, causing her to blush. But what everyone didn't realize was that they didn't need Blair there to help. Meridus could have done this all on his own.

Meridus walked over to Blair and grabbed her hand, all of them waving as the clans boarded their ships and set sail for home.

"Boys!" Fergus shouted, noticing the triplets were waving at them from atop one of the ships. "Get back here!" The king rushed to the waters, trying to wave the ship back.

Blair chuckled as she watched the king wave his arms like a mad man. She didn't notice the Queen moved to stand beside her. "Blair-" she said softly, gaining the young girls attention. "You are apart of this family. Your past is the past but your future is with us."

This caused the young girl to smile, tears brimming at her eyes. She turned to Meridus who smiled down at her, agreeing with his mothers words. "I was wondering-" the young Prince hesitated, glancing at his mother who only nodded before walking over to her husband. "Would you like have a date with me?" He asked with hope.

Blair nodded her head, smiling. "Of course. I've been waiting for you to ask." She teased as she stood on her tippy toes, kissing his cheek softly. "You know Mer-" she said as she held his hands. "You would be an amazing king to this kingdom. You're mother taught you well but you taught her as well."

The prince chuckled as he walked with her along the beach. "You're wiser then you seem." He smiled as the breeze blew in their hair.

From a distance, watching from afar, an elderly women watched the Prince and the young girl. A smile made its way onto her face. "You'll live happily, my dear granddaughter." She said in a whisper before disappearing in the wind. This was the witch that kept her safe in her home before she was forced to live the young girl behind. But that's a different story for another time.
