"WHERE THE HELL ARE THEY?" joyce rants as she looks for her keys before work. "jonathan!"

"check the couch!" jonathan yells back as he makes breakfast.

"ugh, i did." joyce complains. "oh! got them."

joyce then walks up to jonathan. "okay, sweetie, i will see you tonight."

"yeah, see you later." jonathan responds.

"where's will and y/n?" joyce suddenly asks.

"oh, i didn't get them up yet." jonathan replies as he focuses on making breakfast. "they're both probably still sleeping."

"jonathan, you have to make sure they're up!" joyce reminds him.

"mom, i'm making breakfast." jonathan defends.

"i told you this a thousand times." joyce mutters as she walks to will and y/n's room.

"will, y/n! come on, guys." joyce calls as she claps her hands twice. "it's time to get up."

but joyce walks into the room, and finds that will isn't there, then goes to to y/n's room.

she finds that y/n isn't there either.

"they came home last night, right?" joyce asks jonathan as she walks back to him.

"they're not in their rooms?" jonathan asks, confused.

"did they come home or not?" joyce demands.

"i don't know.." jonathan replies with a bit a shame.

"you don't know?" joyce asks.

"no. i-i-i got home late. i was working." jonathan stutters.

"you were working!?" joyce asks with a little anger in her voice.

"eric asked if i could cover. i said yeah." jonathan explains. "i just thought we could use extra cash."

"jonathan, we talked about this." joyce reminds him.

"i know, i know." jonathan admits.
