a sweat drenched boy.

[timeskip; day of coming to Busan]

"Woah. Easy girl." He says gently,
softly stroking the top of her head. Today
wasn't her best, seemed very on edge and
easily irritated. Jungkook always felt bad
when his animals, seemed out of tune.
"Want a sugar cube, hm?" He tried, Lucille
just neighs, shaking her head side to side,
her silky hair strands flopping side to side.

"Alright, alright," Jungkook gives an
defeated smile "back to the stables then."
He points to it exaggeratedly, he tugs lightly
on the reigns, leading Lucille and himself
to stables. She easily follows along, most likely wanting to get into the shade. He whips his
head, trying to move his sweat cover curls
from his eyes. Knew I should've put my hair
into a bun. He thought.

Today wasn't the hottest day of summer
he had worked. But it was still damned hot.
Having to shovel horse shit, feed the hens
and roosters, and then taking Lucille on her weekly ride. It no doubt had him looking as
if someone dumped a bucket of water on his head.

Upon entering the stable, he heard a whistle.
"Woo~ A free show kook?" His close friend
Hoseok asked with a raise eyebrow and a
smirk, glancing up and down his sweat
drenched white shirt (That was nearly
see through now).

Jungkook felt his ears heated up in embarrassment. "A busy day today, can't
blame me" he shrugs, leading Lucille to
her respective stall. "You don't see me
complaining." Hoseok says, grabbing a
bale of hay and placing it in Lucille's stall.

Jungkook chuckles. "You wrapping up for
today?" he asks, locking up Lucille's stall
after Hoseok quickly it. Giving her a small
pat over the gate before turning to co worker.
"Yeah, I need to hit the sack.. and probably
hit a shower. Today's weather was just not it. You?" Jungkook nods, relating to everything
his friend just said.

"Yeah, just have to stop by the Park's home
to drop off those eggs I collected earlier."

After tidying up some things in the stable
and Jungkook trying to ringing out most of
the sweat out of his shirt, wanting to look just
a tad bit more decent. Even if he knew he was
a stable boy and it would be acceptable to look
indecent sometime.

He started his walk across the field, the Parks
home is just diagonal to the farm itself. There were two medium-sized boxes resting safely under Jungkook's biceps. Both filled with
eggs.

The Park's home consisted of two sweet
elders and their cat, Whiskers, who seemed
to dislike him. The two of them are gushed
about around their small, yet cozy town.
Their fame and riches may be the cause of
that. But Jungkook likes to think it's because
of their generosity and wholesome
personalities.

Jungkook has been helping around the
farm since a wee teenager, finally scoring a
job when he turned eighteen. He loved the
work, his co-workers, and adored his bosses.

He entered the home, immediately the smell
of delicious food filled his lungs. He could
hear the familiar sound of a woman's hum emerging from the kitchen area. "Mrs.Park"
he called out to her, letting her know he was there, not trying to frighten the busy lady.

"Jungkook? Is that you dear?"

He walks into the kitchen placing the
boxes on the floor. "Yes ma'am~" he smiled,
the Park's were always beyond friendly to
him. Mrs.Park was wearing a flowly flower
designed dress, and a nice apron over it.

"Ahh~ You came just in time. Taste this
for me, dear." She beckons him over, with
a spoon in hand. Jungkook quickly goes on
over, taking the spoon into his mouth.
Watching to see Jungkook's reaction.
