Ashtray wakes up in a cold sweat after having having the worst nightmare ever.

He looks over at Vivian as she slowly opens her eyes.

"Are you okay?" She asks, her voice low.

He takes a moment before answering. "Yeah. I'm fine."

He puts his hand over hers and rubs his thumb over.

"We're gonna put this behind us, okay? Just takes time."

And honestly, Ashtray really hopes that's true.

"Okay," Ashtray exhales. "Have a good first day."

"You sure you're alright?" She asks, smiling softly.

"A little nervous." He shakes his head. "No, Very nervous."

[𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁]

The two stand in the door way.

"I love you." She says.

"I love you, too." He smiles before kissing her.

After the kiss she walks out of the door, closing it behind her.

He hears gunshots and immediately runs over to the door and sees her lying on the floor.

"Vivi?!"

He turns over to look at Vivian in the hospital bed, peacefully sleeping.

He sits up, breathing heavily.
