(Luz's pov)
I was walking through the night market with Ida when something landed on my head with a small chirp. I reach up and cuped my hands around the tiny object only to reveal a small red bird. "Little Rascal what are you doing here?" I looked at the palisman quizicaly till I noticed the note it was holding in one talon. I gently took the paper from him and slowly read it.
(3rd pov)
"Can we talk later it's kinda important and your the only one I can trust right now -Hunter" She read aloud. Is Hunter ok? She thought to her self suddenly she saw him in the crowd. She took the pen She had and wrote on the back before handing it to the bird.
"Take this to hunter he's right over there I'll see you in 30." She pats the birds head and watches him fly off. "Hey Ida" She said turning around.
"Everything ok kido?" She asked looks at her worried.
"Yeah I was just wondering if I could head home early I'm kinda tired." She said let out a yawn and stretched alittle
"Sure kido but you don't have to lie to help your friend I heard and it's ok." She laughs shooing her along.
"Thanks Ida" She smiled and ran of back to the house.
(Huners pov)
I was walking around the night market when I heard a familiar chirp. I turn around to be met with Flapjack flying to me. I stretched out my hand as he lays something in my hand then snuggles up to my neck. I look at the note and let out a relieved sigh.

(3rd pov)
Hunter walk up to The Owl House and was met with Hootie screaming to luz that she had a visitor. He stood their nervously rubbing his arm. The door opened to reveal a worried luz.
"Hey Hunter come in." She said in a rushed voice. Hunter walked in and sat on the couch wincing from the slight pressure on his stomach. Luz notices and places a hand on his shoulder and crouches in front of him.
"Are you ok" She asked. Hunter didn't respond instead he just nodded his head. "Look hunter somethings clearly wrong why cant..." She trailed of as she noticed blood on his shirt. She reached out her hand to inspect where the blood was coming from but was stopped when Hunter grabbed her wrist.
"Sorry Luz but please don't touch my stomach" He sighed wincing again when he moved alittle.
"But how can I help you if you won't let me? I know somethings wrong. Dose it have to do with Belose? Did he do this?" She kept asking till Hunter gave in.
"Fine just stop asking." He let out a shakey sigh and took of his cape along with his vest and shirt and putting them on the table along with his mask. Luz let out a gasp when she saw the wound on his stomach.
"Who did this to you and you need actual help." She asked pulling out her scroll and calling Amity.
"You were right before uncle did this when Kikimora told him I had a palisman." He responded as she forced him to lay down on the couch. She finished her call and not even ten minutes later there was a knock on the door. She rushed over to it and opened the the door to reveal Amity and the Blight twins along with a girl with brown hair.
"Hey Luz what's wrong? Why did you need us over here so fast?" She asked following her father into the living room. The group gaped when they saw Hunter laying on the couch with a gash on his stomach.
(Mention of abuse)
Edric stood behind the rest of the group tracing the forming scar on his stomach while Viney and Em rushed to heal the blond boy. It couldn't be could it. He started to silently freak out. What would his partner think? What would she do? Would she hit me again? Would she hurt his soulmate? He ran out of the room and into the forest trying to escape the thoughts swarming in his mind.
