"I mean... I believed you, but I didn't think you'd be this big! Or that you'd take us to space- actually, how am I even breathing right now?" You finally took the time to think about the logistics of your current situation now that you'd gotten over the initial shock of Sana's true size without her limiter.

Sana froze for a moment before she blinked and reached out, gently petting you on the head with her fingertip.

'Magic of course! I'm space and I can do whatever I want in my domain, including giving the ability to breathe to whomever I please' Her face was ever so smug. Without any warning, she carefully scooped you up with both hands, placing you on her shoulder as the two of you drifted about in the endless abyss.

It was surprisingly relaxing. Just laying there with someone you trusted and loved so dearly, surrounded on all sides by glittering and glinting stars. Despite how cold it was in space, Sana's influence must've been keeping you warm. Regardless, you still nuzzled into her, almost completely swallowed by her sheer amount of hair that floated aimlessly around the two of you.

"I thought space wasn't colourful?" You eyed the sheer amount of colours swirling around you, some of which you were familiar with like blues and reds, and others you weren't sure humans were supposed to see. Like that colour over there! How the hell were you supposed to describe that to anyone who hadn't seen it before?

'Well... I've kind've given you a fraction of my power, otherwise, you would've died the moment I took you here. Since you have some of my power, you can perceive things normal humans wouldn't' Sana hummed, closing her eyes thoughtfully as she leaned back and crossed her arms behind her head. You just copied her, resting comfortably on her shoulder.

You just stared out at the cosmos, one little question hovering in the corner of your mind. Sana had mentioned it briefly before in a prior conversation.

"Hey, Sana? How long has it been on Earth?" The speaker of space briefly opened one of her eyes to look at you, pursing her lips like she was reluctant to tell you the answer.

'Four...' She trailed off, closing her eye again to avoid eye contact.

"Four hours? Have we really been gone that long?" Damn, good thing you bought that automatic sprinkler for your house plant a week ago. Who knew how long it would take to get back home.

'No... more like forty-three...' Sana trailed off again, chewing on the inside of her mouth.

"Forty-three hours?!" Sana flinched at the volume of her voice.

'More like... forty-three... years?' You felt your soul leave your body. Sana looked guilty.

"Forty-three years?" You felt the stinging of tears pricking at the corner of your eyes. Everyone you'd known back on Earth... Would some of them even be alive anymore?

'WAIT NO THAT WAS A JOKE! I usually make that joke with Kronini and we're both so used to large time gaps! No, we've only been gone for forty-three hours and I told the council about it so they're keeping everything in check' Sana leaned up, once again scooping you carefully into her palms like a hamster.

She knew she couldn't kiss you in this form, so instead, she just rested her forehead ever so carefully against yours.

"Mean," You scoffed. Sana's smile looked a little strained, but she managed a dry chuckle.

'Yeah, and you're cute' You felt the heat rising up your neck at her comment.

"Leave it to you to call me cute to salvage the situation..." You finally let yourself breathe deeply, your heart calming down after the scare.

...

"Can we go home now?"

'Screw you, life. Screw you and all of the little annoyances you test me with every day' You grumbled, screwing your eyes closed as the pain continued to thud behind your eyes. And worst of all, the pain killers you took ten minutes ago were taking their sweet time in getting rid of the aforementioned pain.

You finally sat up, the blankets you'd bundled yourself up in falling around your shoulders. Blinking, you set your sights on the icy cold glass of water resting just outside of your grasp. The water glimmered evilly in the light, shining directly into your eyes, making you squint in pain.

"You are an evil little bastard," You whispered, clutching the blankets tightly. Either you get up and take three steps to get the water, leaving the warmth and comfort of your place on the couch behind, or you could stay where you were and remain comfy with a little bit of a dry throat.

Weighing up those options, you decided on the latter. With a scowl, you fell back onto your pillow, grumbling as you hid under the blankets to escape the sunlight spilling through the nearby window.

...

"What are you doing?" You briefly peaked out of your cocoon, only to be met with shining, confused amber eyes. Sana reached into your mess of blankets, giving you a few quick headpats before shuffling around till she sat next to you.

"I have a headache that refuses to go away and the glass of water I want is being a menace," You rubbed your eyes, feeling the pain fade for a few seconds before it was back again, rapping at the inside of your skull.

Sana frowned and pursed her lips before snapping her fingers.

"You mind if I try something?" She asked, cupping your cheeks ever so gently. You just nodded, not even bothered to speak.

Sana smiled and kissed you on the tip of your nose before she lifted your head enough to slide herself underneath. She settled your head back down, resting it atop her soft thighs.

Almost immediately your headache vanished. Call it good timing, magic, or the pain killers finally kicking in, you didn't care. Instead, you just let yourself melt into Sana's warmth and comfort, your eyes closing as her humming drove you further and further into a tired stupor.

"You need to stop playing videos and jugging energy drinks at 3am. I think that's why you have so many headaches," Sana gently scratched your scalp in a soothing way. You grumbled.

"I mean... If me staying up playing video games and drinking Monster means I get head pats from you, I can only see myself doing it again," You shot a cheeky smirk at Space. Sana paused for a moment, looking like she was deep in thought.

All of a sudden, you felt her shifting underneath you, slowly shifting your head and she stood up.

"Well, if you're just gonna keep giving yourself headaches it's not my problem-" You saw that smug ass look and groaned.

"FINE... I'll stop giving myself headaches," You just sank back into Sana's warmth, her hand returning to your head as she lulled you back into your sleepy state.
