★chapter one★

"Okay, I want Red velvet cake. Do you've any expert bakers that can do it in a like short notice like this please?". She says

My mind goes to my best friend, She's a Baker who owns a small shop in Cali. It's like tasting heaven when you eat treats,
"I've one, I'll send her number but please can you tell her you're from me please?". Fiona gives me free cookies when I give people recommendations to her place,

"Sure and I just noticed you have some kind of Canadian accent, it's nice". She compliments, I'm not American but I do live in California due to circumstances.

"Thank you, it's really sweet of you. Your husband sent the invitation list to me, do you want to see it or it's fine?". I said pulling my phone from my pocket.

I could picture her wedding already, I mean Alice is so wonderful that she paid me without negotiation and a huge tip, I used the money to pay Aurora's fees for two terms incase I don't have money.

give her my phone and she scans it, her eyesbrows furrow when my phone beep
"What the hell does Jason mean by don't show Alice the list?". She mumbles, I aim to take my phone but she was too fast.

She brings out her phone and the phone rings, anger on her face"hey baby".

"Why is Jordyn your ex invite to our like wedding Jason?". She interrupts and the phone goes silent immediately.

"And why is she marked as special guest"

Alice- it's not like that. Where's indigo and why did she show you the list?".

Her expression turns to stunned, I have spent the money already and with how everything is going I might gave to pay-

"Oh really, I took her phone from her. I mean I thought you changed". Her voice breaks down to a sob before she stops.

"I thought after giving you a chance will change you, you cheated on me Jason. I forgave you and the same person you-".

"Alice, Baby, its not-".

"Forget it, I don't want to spend the rest of my life with someone like you. We're not getting married, Good bye". She add and hangs the call.

She covers my face with her palms and her body begins to shake, she mumbles words I couldn't hear but I know there's no good word coming out from there too

"You can have the money I paid, thank you for planning my wedding but I have one request, Can you do it for me please"

"Sure, anything for you Alice".

"Can you take me to the bakery? That one you recommended please?". I nod, I stand and take my book and she takes a bag which I believe is hers

The drive to the bakery was smooth, she was trailing me from her car. She parks her car and looks at the bakery from in

"Fiona". I sing swinging the door open to meet her frown, She told me I'm not that of a singer but who cares, Free world

"Fiona meet Alice, A friend of mine. She wants to try something of yours right?".

"Do you have anything red velvet?".

"Welcome to Fiona's bakery, Don't be so shy and we have cookies and cake that's red velvet so take a seat". Fiona says, she takes us to a seat and goes to the counter

She comes back with two small boxes, I smile when she passes me my favourite cookies and Alice her own order too

iona and Alice got along, We all got along so well that it should be illegal. We laughed and Alice told us about Jason

"You're not a fool, Don't be sad. If you don't mind then we are friends and we can talk anytime you feel down". I suggest and wait for a huge no or scoff to be received.

"Fiona from shrek". Alice laughs

"Alice from the wonderland". Fiona say

Glad to say that we started to hang out, I mean we're a trio of best friend and we were hanging out celebrating three year friendship and Alice bumped into the man of her dreams that day, Ezra miller
