[16] ● Marquess Musing ●

Start from the beginning

Jonathan was just being overly dramatic.

And had seen second hand what being a Magor celebrity could do to a person that didn't have the same will power as his dad.

'I know grandad can be harsh, when protecting humanity and all'

'He'd do the right thing. Right?'

Jonathan didn't have time to deliberate his actions any further.

As he heard the fimmler rush or wind from behind his bedroom door.

The same as he had heard that morning.

His dad was home.

And not slowing down?

Jonathan turned from his place on his bed.

Getting up and reaching for his door handle.

Clark was still held up in his wifes car outside of Chrissy's office building.

Smiling slightly at passers-by every couple of minutes with the foil sheet covering his superman uniform from neck to toe.

For the first time since meeting 'the voice' ... No ... he had a name to place on the figure now.

For the first time since meeting 'Edge'.

Clark had time to himself.

To go over his own thoughts.

To go over all that had happened in the long day that was still not over with yet.

Pushing his glasses up more higher on his nose bridge.

'A key to his heritage?'

Clark had once hoped in milliseconds between coming to Edge's fortris and seeing the decaying red headed woman.

Before his dreams had been shattered by Edge's plans for world domination.

'No I already have a home here on earth ... With my family.'

Between the pauses in Clark thoughts he had heard a noise he'd had become familiar with over the years.

Looking out for it even when he was on Superman duty.

A sudden intake of breath.

Wheezing and panting.

The sudden rush of a heartbeat.

It was the wheezing and panting of Jordan.

Clark hadn't hired it since they had moved to SmallVille.
