Jonathan could taste the overpowering allure of the warm copper that coated Finley's tongue.
The mere thought as to where the flavour had come from greatly disturbing Jonathan.
But the constant pressure of Finley's tongue tangled with his own.
Distracted him from Finley's preferred meals.

Finley's aversion to Jonathan's closeness.
Had changed in almost an instant.
Pulling the other boy close.
Roping his hands round Jonathan's sides.
Hugging him close.
Finley could smell the sun.
But it was so clearly Jonathan.
The scent was soft and light.
Unlike the physical sun's tendency to smell like the scolding of Finley's own skin.
Jonathan's mouth however was like spring.
Like when a flower is just on the cusp of blooming.
Jonathan's taste encapsulates his smell.
Light with a subtle hint of mint.
Finley in that moment for the first time since being left alone by his neglectful parents and being handed over into Morgan Edge's custody.
Had never felt so free.
