*5 Months Later*

Pete's POV

I sat on the plane, waiting for landing. Today I would see my little girl and my forever human. Patrick nudged my shoulder with a huge smile on his face.

"Are you excited?" He asked.

"Hell yes. I get to see two of my favorite people." I grinned.

"Same. I bet Declan got so big. I can't believe he's already 7 months old."

"7? Mine is 8 months. That's 4 more months from a year Pattycakes. Can you believe it?"

"Kids. They grow up so fast." The plane hit the runway with a thump and I kept a smile on my face the whole time. We got our bags and walked out to the main area. I saw Elisa standing with Declan and nudged Patrick. He grinned and ran to her. I saw Joe walking to Marie and finally I spotted Lauren standing next to some guy.

"Hey Pete!" She called waving to me. The guy was holding Lyric, my Lyric, in his arms. I forced a smile as Lauren ran into my arms.

"Oh my gosh, I missed you so much." She said smiling into my shoulder.

"I did too. Uh, who's the guy with Lyric?" I replied as casually as possible.

"You mean Cody? I'll introduce you two." Lauren pulled me all the way to the Cody guy who was making faces at Lyric.

"Dada!" Lyric cheered.

"She can speak?" I asked amazed.

"Sorta. She knows her name though. If you call her, she'll turn her head and listen." Lauren responded happily.

"Yeah, last week she called me CD." That Cody guy chuckled. Lauren just looked at him and giggled.

"Anywho, Cody this is my boyfriend Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy. Pete, this is my friend Cody Carson from Set It Off." Lauren smiled.

"Nice to meet you." I said shaking his hand.

"I never thought I'd actually meet you. Your band influenced my bandmates and I to start a band of our own. This is a dream come true to me." Cody said excitedly.

"Cool, glad to be an influence."

"Okay, you must be tired. Cody, do you mind getting the car?" Lauren asked taking Lyric and handing her to me.

"It's no problem to me. I'll be around in a sec." Cody smiled running to get him car.

"So, how was tour?" Lauren asked grabbing one of my bags.

"I missed you and Lyric a lot." I sighed as we started walking outside.

"We missed you too."

"So, how'd you meet Cody?"

"My mom's friend's daughter had tickets to an As It Is tour but couldn't go. She gave the tickets to my mom and mom gave them to me. I didn't wanna leave Lyric, but she convinced me it was the best thing to do, go and have fun. I went and Cody's band was playing too. They're really good. So after the concert, I was walking to my car when Cody bumped into me. We started talking and he told me he was gonna be here for another day. We agreed to meet tomorrow and that's it."

"I thought he was supposed to leave."

"His tour is over silly." Cody pulled the car to the curb and got out to help me with my bags.

"Thanks man." I said politely.

"It's no problem." Cody smiled closing the trunk. I got in the front seat next to Lauren and he sat in back with Lyric.

"CD!" Lyric yelled.

"Yeah pixie?" He asked smiling at her.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Pixie. When Lauren introduced me to her, she was wearing a shirt with pixies on it. She loves that nickname." Cody responded. I frowned and looked down at my phone. I couldn't wait for this drive to be over. When we finally got home, I jumped out of the car and ran inside.

"Home, oh how I've missed you!" I smiled.

"Thanks for leaving us with all your shit to carry Peter." Lauren grunted walking in with my bags.

"Sorry baby. I'm just so happy to be home." I replied sheepishly. Cody walked in with Lyric.

"Where should I put her?" He asked.

"Her play pen is over by the sofa. She has a few blocks and toys in there." Lauren replied while putting down my bags. I was just wondering when Cody was gonna leave. Finally my prayers were answered.

"Hey Laur, I gotta go. Maxx says they need me down at the studio." Cody said looking at Lauren.

"Aww okay. Lyric, say bye to Cody." Lauren said.

"Bye-bye CD!" Lyric yelled. Cody smiled and picked up Lyric.

"Later Pixie. See you when I see you." He chuckled before kissing Lyric's cheek. My daughter's cheek. He next walked over to me.

"It was great meeting you Pete." He smiled holding out a hand. I took it and he pulled me into a bro hug.

"Same. See you later Cody." I replied. Lastly, he went to hug Lauren. He wrapped his arms around her waist and hers went around his neck.

"Bye Cody." She smiled.

"See you Lauren." He replied pulling back. Cody walked out of the house and I immediately felt a weight lifted from my shoulder. Lauren looked over at me and a smile spread on her face.

"What?" I asked.

"You're here! Do you know how much times I've dreamed of this moment?" Lauren asked walking towards me. I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her close.

"I've had that dream too, except, there were a lot less clothes." I whispered in her ear. Lauren gasped and pulled back.

"Pete, our daughter is right over by the sofa." She giggled.

"Isn't it her nap time." I asked wiggling my eyebrows.

"You put her to nap and I'll see what I can do." Lauren walked upstairs and I quickly picked up Lyric.

"Alright Lyr, I'm gonna need you to go beddy-bye so mommy and I can...uhh...do taxes!" I said walking up the stairs. Lyric did look sleepy so that was a good sign. I ran into her room and laid her in her crib.

"Can't forget the baby monitor." I muttered turning it on. The other monitor was in me and Lauren's room.

"Good night princess." I smiled kissing Lyric's forehead. I dimmed her lights and turned on her mobile before running into my room. Lauren was sitting on the bed in my tshirt and her underwear. God, please have mercy on my soul. I walked toward her and picked her up by her hand.

"Oh my gosh baby. You look beautiful in anything, everything, and nothing." I mumbled kissing her collarbone. Lauren giggled and put her arms over my shoulders. I kissed her and pushed her down on the bed, carefully.

"I missed this so much." She moaned.

"I did too. Every second of it." I smirked pulling the shirt off of her body. Lauren was left in a purple lacy bra and matching underwear. She tugged off my shirt and exposed my chest. I kissed her again as we just laid on the bed, her hands running up my chest.

Then everything was ruined.

Lyric's loud cries came from the baby monitor.

"Fuck." I muttered getting off of Lauren.

"I got it Pete." She replied putting on a robe. I watched her walk away from me as realization hit that we wouldn't be able to pick up where we left off. At least not tonight. I groaned and fell back on the bedsheets.

A/N: I really really love adding Cody in these stories. He's such a good person for people to get jealous of ;). Ps. That's him in the media section.
