Lauren's POV

It's been a week since I had Lyric and today I could finally leave the hospital.

"Pete do you have everything?" I asked holding Lyric.

"Yeah. Carseat, baby toys, and her baby bag." Pete said walking behind me.

"Now remember, mom and dad are coming to see Lyric. If they say anything to offend you, don't take it to heart. They're still a little pissed about me having a baby with my brothers, older, bandmate, but they'll have to accept it."

"It's fine. I'd be upset if Lyric did something like that too." I chuckled and unlocked the new Honda Accord Pete bought! He says it makes him feel like a soccer mom, but whatever. I strapped Lyric in her car seat and gave her a teddy bear to hold.

"Baby, can I have the keys?" Pete asked.

"Sure babe." I replied giving him the car keys. I got in the passenger seat and Pete in the drivers. As I was buckling my seat belt, I noticed Pete giving me an intense stare.

"What?" I asked defensively. Pete gave me a goofy smile and leaned across to my seat and kissed me.

"How is it that you just birthed my child a week ago and you're still so perfect?" He smiled romantically. God he's hot. My hormones are just all over the place. They way he was looking at me made me want to let him have me in this car, with our 7 day old daughter watching.

"Pete, please drive before we start something we can't finish." I said clearing my throat. He smirked at me and drove us home. When I got out the car, I grabbed Lyric's baby bag, and Pete took her and her car seat. When I opened the door, Patrick, Joe, Andy, Marie, Elisa, mom, and dad were there.

"Welcome home!" They cheered. I smiled ran to Patrick for a hug. He wrapped his arms around my back and squeezed me tightly.

"Aww, I still can't believe my little sister is a mom! Where's my niece?" He asked.

"Her father stole her from me." I chuckled.

"Pete, give me my niece!" Patrick yelled at Pete who just made it to the door.

"My daughter Pattycakes." Pete sneered. Lyric was just looking around at everyone with those big brown eyes of hers. I took Lyric out the car seat and carried her over to my parents.

"Mom, dad, meet your granddaughter, Lyric Lavender Wentz." I smiled holding her out to my parents. Mom took Lyric first and smiled at her.

"She's beautiful Lauren." Mom smiled. Dad looked over at Lyric and sighed.

"She looks like the perfect mix of her mother and her father. She's gorgeous." He said. I smiled over at Pete who was watching from afar.

"Congratulations sweetie." Mom smiled, pulling me into a one handed hug.

"Thank you momma." I smiled. I walked over to Elisa, holding Lyric.

"Hey! How are you doing right now?" I asked.

"I feel like I'm gonna pop any minute, but other than that, I feel pretty good." Elisa laughed.

"Better than me. During my 8th month, oh my god, I was ready to kill anyone and everyone."

"I get that feeling too, but I'm more able to control it." Elisa and I shared a laugh and then I walked over to Joe and Andy.

"Hey kiddo. Glad to be home?" Andy asked kissing your forehead.

"Definitely. Hospitals just aren't my thing." I replied while hugging Joe. Suddenly, the phone began to ring.

"I'll get it." I called. I handed Lyric to Andy and answered the phone.

"Wentz-Stump residence, how may I help you?" You asked.

"Hi, is Pete there? This is Jessica." The voice said.
