18♡; the fight

vinnie would be going against deji, and of course lola had undeniable amounts of faith in him, but a small part of her was beyond nervous. what if he got seriously hurt? he had worked really hard, and she did not doubt his abilities one bit. she had no doubt in her mind that he'd win. but even if he does win, that doesn't mean he wouldn't still have some damage done to him.

"hey, what's wrong?" vinnie asked her when he turned away from his closet to see the girl sulking on his bed. "nothing, i'm just- nothing." lola shook her head, not wanting to project her worries onto him. vinnie frowned and sat next to her on the bed, placing his hand on hers, "please don't hide your feelings from me."

lola sighed lightly. she couldn't say no to him when he used that word. "i just don't want you to get hurt. i really think you'll win, but what i-if, what if you still get seriously hurt," lola looked away from his face, not wanting to see his facial reaction to her words. "y'know, it's cute that you worry that much about me. it's pussy behavior, but still cute." vinnie spoke out with a proud smile, knowing that the easiest way to cheer her up is with humor.

lola let out a laugh and hit his shoulder, "shut up, nigga, damn. that's the last time i show affection to your annoying ass,"

vinnie smiled seeing the look of joy that highlighted all her features, bringing her hand up to his mouth to place a kiss on it. "i'll be okay, amor. i promise. no way i'll let him bust my lip before i get to kiss you again." vinnie spoke his words like they were a promise, kissing her hand again.

lola swore that she was about to melt into the bed. how could someone be so perfect?

"you're amazing." lola spoke honestly, kissing his cheek. vinnie smiled wide as he stood up, "yeah, i get that alot."

lola glared at him, making him laugh and shake his head, wrapping his arms around her waist, "kidding, kidding."

he kissed her head a few times, "you're amazing too."

lola sat on the couch in vinnie's dressing room, bouncing her leg anxiously. "girl, he hasn't even started fighting yet," veondre laughed from beside her, noticing the girls mannerisms.

the boxing match had started, you could hear the crowd roar from backstage as tayler holder was in the ring. vinnie was up next, and now the stakes were as high as ever. so far, every tiktoker had lost. it would be crazy for vinnie to pull this win off.

vinnie finished putting on his gear and walked into the room, furrowing his eyebrows when he saw the girls look at him like he had 12 heads, "what? do i look goofy?"

veondre couldn't help but giggle at the word goofy, making lola shake her head and laugh, "no, vin. you look amazing. and hot. and intimidating."

vinnie smirked as lola walked towards him, wrapping her arms around his neck. "yeah?" he hummed, kissing her head then her cheek.

veondre gagged then shook her head, "alright, alright. just because i'm aware that you guys are a thing, that does not mean i have to be a witness."

vinnie laughed but rolled his eyes, "mhm, alright, ve."

"i'm gonna go wait by the ring with everyone else, see you out there, lola." veondre giggled as she opened the door, "oh yeah, and good luck, vincent. you sure as hell gon' need it."
