I spear a glance to Seven, already anticipating the pissed off expression that I'm met with. I'm unsure what to do as my cover is blown but Grimmy is the first to speak.

"My point proven." He remarks with a small chuckle. I ignore Seven's scowl and begin taking the steps down to join them, I may as well. There's no point in me staying hidden now anyway - not that I could even manage that.

"Nice to see you, Lilianna." Grim smiles when I stand next to them both and I nod to acknowledge him.

"I told you to stay in the bedroom." Seven scolds me.

"Yes, you did. But that doesn't mean I have to do as you say." I fold my arms in an attempt to seem braver then I intend to be. When really it was my nosey curiosity that had me defying Seven's instructions not because I opposed to him being bossy. I'm not stupid to question his judgement of my safety which is why I waited to figure out if his guest was a threat before I pushed my luck.

Seven frowns at my answer while Grim finds it amusing.

"She's just as obstinate as you are Seven." He remarks with a humoured huff. Seven says nothing but shakes his head at Grim. I don't know whether he's disagreeing or whether he's warning Grimmy. Probably both.

"So what were you saying about a safe house?" I ask, causing Seven's eyes to shoot back to me.

"How long were you listening to us?" He asks and I shrug, not wanting to reveal that I've heard their entire conversation since Grim stepped in the house.

"I'll tell you about it later." Seven brushes me off and I frown.

"Lily, Grim and I have some things to talk about. I need you to go back upstairs and actually stay there this time." Seven's voice is drastically softer as his hand cups my elbow.

"I'll meet you in the office." Seven instructs Grim to meet him in the room down the hall. The only room to have any kind of personality matched to Seven apart from his dark bedroom. The office walls are lined with books and his most precious possessions hidden away in a lock box. A lock box that now contains photographs of me. Grimmy nods once before turning and leaving for that very room to wait for Seven.

"You promised me no more secrets." I remind Seven.

"I know, I know baby and these aren't secrets." His hands take my face and I can't help but appease at his use of the pet name. Thumbs brush my cheeks as he continues speaking.

"I will tell you, but for now I just need you to trust me while I figure out the plan myself in order to let you know it. Which is what Grim and I are trying to do. As well as Curby." Seven's voice is gentle and he keeps a steady eye contact with me, making sure I can see the truth in his eyes and that he isn't trying to hide anything from me. Not anymore.

"Okay." I lean my face further into his warm palms as he places a simple kiss to my forehead.

"Go back to bed. Please. I'll be there soon enough." Seven requests and this time I do as he says.

SEVEN'S POV

I wait till her silhouette disappears into the bedroom. The warm glow at the top of the stairs fades as she closes the door behind her.

"I gather you two have worked out your differences or do you both just like to prance about the place half naked." Grimmy asks as I close the office door behind me. He stands with his back to me as he looks over the spines of the various books sitting in the floor to ceiling shelves.

"If you're complaining about it perhaps don't rock up to peoples houses at one in the morning." I remark.

Grimmy chuckles and moves his observations to the large desk I now stand beside. I watch his eyes spot the lock box sitting unlocked in its centre. At first I don't question his curious hands lifting up the lid, both Grimmy and Curby know of the lock boxes contents, in fact Grimmy was the one to give me a lot of the memorabilia from my father. So at first I'm not worried about him looking inside the box, that is until Grim flicks the lid all the way back to display the mound of newly printed and stowed away photographs.
